everyone: ok, so i showed yas day 4, so i guess im updating this thread on sunday nights/monday mornings... coz here they are.. day 11.

in the bed:

time to come out and pose for me girls.

#1: she looks droppy coz i just watered her. all my plants sagg a little when i water em. dunno why... but it doesnt seem to hurt.

hazy--Welcome, mate! I'm hoping that each of us gets a tasty pheno out of this run. If I get a male, I have no problem inbreeding and sending some seeds up to the bay if things flesh out nicely. The original VH was a nice keeper and if things go well, I'll spread some love.

Jay...you're leaving some awfully big footprints for me to follow here! Those girls are gonna fill out nicely, my friend.

Well, here's what I've got to show so far:
VH1-

VH2-

VH3--The cotyledon was "fused" together and the one leaflet was trying to grow through it like a doughnut hole. I fixed her, though, and she (hopefully) should start looking normal soon.

VH4-The taproot stopped growing, and I don't think this one's gonna make it...

Number 5 is a no-show

but I'll wait another day or so just to be sure before I attempt an autopsy.

I've decided to run these in soil for now, and reserve my table or buckets for my tried-and-true project that I've got going later this year.

Everybody have a good week...Labor Day barbecue action is nearly upon us! Well, us statesiders, at least...

right on shitake,i like the fact we gonna see the different stages at the same time,with different set-ups and styles yo.this is gonna be a interesting ass thread bro.
i like the first few weeks of life just as well as the last few honestly.thats when you can see the different phenos first take on thier traits.its pretty sweet to watch the same stock grow so different some times.like you and J might end up with different phenos and we see them both right here.bomb ass thread idea guys/im lovin it.

Shitake, definitely an interesting start to life for those babies. I wonder how #3 will turn out, I have never seen a plants cotyledons fused together. As Jay said, watch that one turns out to be a super female. And I can already see differences in #1 and #2. This is really going to be a fun thread to keep an eye on.

And if you ever decide to make any more VH beans I would love to try them out.
