Well irratible bowle syndrom really hurts some times I get bad cramps and vomiting pot is about the only thing that helps me relax and stop being nausiated. BEside taking a whole bunch of pills.I found that indica's are better for this ( thx Gypsy) And im trying to find a good strain for my allement. if you can help please do thx guys

Huhmmm... I have IBS too. Didn't realize that fruit helped out with it. It's really flaired up in the last couple months and now I guess I know why... Stopped smoking!!!

My girfriend has IBS and I did a little reasearch and found Federation Seeds out of Canada they breed medical strains that are bred for different ailment and disorders. HawaiianXCottoncandy mostly sativa good for IBS abd other digestive siorders flowers in 63 days. I think they were under 50$ a pack. Hope this helps!

Have you tried an exclusion diet? It's quite an excercise in willpower, but if you can get the upper hand on your base desires.....

Eat NOTHING but plain white rice for a week to ten days (most people with IBS can digest White rice relatively painlessly). Drink water and watered down fruit juice. No alcohol, no milk, no sugar.

When you've gone through hell week......and it is hell......... start adding things into your diet one by one waiting three to four days between adding the next item. When you start noticing discomfort again, ELIMINATE that item from your diet. .. back to rice (and everything that DIDN'T upset your digestive system) for a few days, then continue adding foods and eliminating as necessary.

This is a hopelessly simplified description, but you get the idea. It is a useful tool diagnostic tool for those of us with digestive disorders and food allergies . If you do a little searching on the web you'll find some decent (and crappy) information.

As for weed that helps.....as long as it's an indica it helps me...the worst part of the disorder for me is the sleeplessness resulting from cramping all night.... indica's assist with the sleep deprivation and the nausea.
