Growing some Masterlow, my first time with autoflower strains, well I germed 7 seeds awhile ago, used paper towel method, probably should of went right to soil because they all germed but only 4 sprouted and Im left with 3 nice ones and one runt. They are 10 days old from sprouting and the runt is 9 days old, grown under a 400w HPS on 24 hours a day. Im really having fun growing these, they all look the same except the runt of course and I cant wait for them to sex, they are all sprouting their 4th true set of leaves and some actually have some branching going on underneath but I suck at taking pictures and couldnt get a good pic of them. I fed them for the first time with a weak dose of FF Grow Big 2 days ago and seemed to respond just fine.

These look good for 10 days old?

Im hoping to be able to leave them in the 16oz styro cups until they sex and then I will transfer to 8" pots that I have that hold about 1.4 gallons of soil if my calculations are right, lol. Hoping for a girly

Those are looking great man. The runts can grow into fat lil colas. Very healthy looking.

Thanks Chubbs, I think the runt has autotopped itself. Real strange plant. Its starting to grow a bit faster now, still not too big but its picking up speed.

I think Im gonna have to repot before they sex, they are getting pretty rootbound. Except the runt.

I'll put up some photos in a couple days when Im sure the runt has 2 tops coming out, but it looks like it right now.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to chubbynugs again.

Damn, the 3 nice ones are all males. The mutant autotopping runt is still undetermined so I think Im gonna keep one of the males around until the runt shows sex, if the runt is a female Im gonna try to make some seeds I think so I can try this strain again later with F2s.

If the runt is a female I'll keep updating this thread. I should of waited to start this thread until they showed sex, sorry guys.

Edit: I just repotted the male and the runt to bigger containers and top dressed both of them with some SuperSwell Bat Guano(0-7-0). Im gonna continue feeding with the FF Grow Big every other watering.

Ok heres some pics, first is the male I kept around, I ended up getting a little pollen from him so Im gonna try to pollinate my big outdoor Swiss Miss female that I been fighting bugs with all year this weekend. Hes been under a couple of those CFL bulbs in my basement.














Then heres my autotopper runt plant, was turning out quite nice, shame its a male. Took a week longer to show sex, thought it was a female








Im gonna get started on these now.


But if I am successful pollinating the outdoor plant, I'll update the thread. Im not giving up on the autoflowers, Im gonna get a pack or maybe two of MDanzigs next release, I think he said Blue Streak was next on Highbred. I'll try them over the winter.

Man you name it I had it I think, the one I been having all the problems with was some bad placement by me, I put it in an old dried up for 10 years creek bed, and there just seems to be an abundance of pests. Mites, aphids, leafhoppers, and fucking slugs. Neem oil didnt do the job and thats the first time I havent been successful with neem oil. I got the slugs under control quick back in May but the bugs have been tearing this plant up, especially when I dont visit the plant as often as I should and treat it. There are a freaky number of spiders in the creek bed too just lunching on bugs I guess. Its a nice spot though, plant gets like 8 hours of sunlight a day, I think Im gonna try the same spot next year but in a buried container instead of right in the ground and use that Liquid Sevin silverback was saying was good.


I had tomato plants get torn apart too this year, the bugs seem to be bad this year.

this is it, its had preflowers for like 6-7 weeks, I think it finally started flowering.

Leaves are turned and bent around, because when I took the picture I just got done abusing it spraying it with neem oil, make sure I get the bottoms
