Oh yeah I forgot you're using AF plants so light cycle isn't as important. This is the ultimate low maintenance device, would be great for disabled or movement-restricted people. Top off once every few days, which takes all of 10 seconds, and switch water and tablets every two weeks. I don't think you could fuck it up if the seeds are already starting to germ.

OMG that's such a cutie!
Wife's mouth just dropped as she yelled, I want one for my cooking herbs!!

I checked out my closest distributor and they go for 120-160 british pounds which is a bit expensive but I think I have found this years christmas presents.. One for her herbs and one for mine hehe.. Up to 7 different mothers growing in their own setup is no small feat.

I will follow this one closely!

danzig: have you started seedlings in mediumless before?
I had the problem when i did it that no branch rooting occured and all I got were super long tap roots (12"+long in a few days in dwc bubbler)

I did better when starting in a perlite bed to get a few branch roots going, washing(floating) off the perlite after 2 weeks of veg, and then transferring to foam collars.

Again, this was with dwc and not aero, so yours might be fine. Just know that if your tap roots get super long without branching roots, there might be an issue.

Nope, no real problems as of yet. I can see as to where some one might have problems. Mine seem to be holding their own so far. I'll post pics Friday. They are rooting like crazy.

Sweet. I really hope this works out for you MDanzig. It would be cool if you could run AF's in the AeroGarden all year long, a lot of potheads will be buying AeroGarden's if this is a big time success. I know I would.

Do they stretch more under the CFL's?

Cant wait to see the pics.

LOL "Cute" grow ya got there Mdanzig! I actually picked up that magazine myself and was reading that article. I am sure you can exceed the yield that they managed.
I am just curious about the ease in which these grow the AF's.
Is there any reason you are using "low pheno" Master Low instead of Dieselrider?

Yes, the hood only goes up to I think 16 inches. Let me measure the height. I know they also have offered upgrades, that include an arm the goes much higher, and a hood with extra lighting.
