AN additives...
Since I started growing I've been kind of anti-AN for some rational and not so rational reasons. Anyways, lately I've begun to experiment and tweak things around a bit, of course partly for the sake of progress, but also because I was just getting a lil bored with the same ole techniques and set up. I'm not ready to jump full into AN products, but would like to take a couple of their countless (it seems) additives for a test drive. I've started converting to coco recently and a good humic+fulvic acid product would be great. What would you reccommend and what are your favorite AN additives/boosters? Who knows maybe I'll get converted...
BTW, I barely use 'additives' in my grows period. One of the few is LK, and I've been running that forever. Would be open to a similar AN product. |

AN splits there products into pure form it seams(rather then 3 dif bottles all with fulvic mixed)
anyways being the local self proclaimed AN GURU id tell ya to give Big Bud and Organic-B a try, i like how bigbud fills our mag-whore's endless mag desire, and think you will too. as for organic-b, maybe im happier then my plants, but its the only organic, b-vitamin(yieast based) ive found, helps my plants through all my stress i inflickt on them. im sure you use a good tea from 'some other' brand, or some form of dry guano that fills the same void....but if not there are plenty out there, verma-T being the best ive found... i used to be a big fan of AN MET(veg) but they changed the formula, i still use AN's MET(bloom)im much happier with the formula,it has low N, but plenty of 'other' brands do too. good luck.

malt extract is more of a b-vit booster than yeast I'd believe, but listen to Digihippie. He has pointed you safely towards the better essential parts of AN.
Main difference between AN and other manufacturers is basically Phosphor-philosophy. (Reducing it from the established levels because of increased number of beneficials , mycorrhizae, etc....) Give Big Bud and B-boosters a go along with your common nutes. (IF IT WAS TE ONLY bLOOM-BOOST I'd use it week 2-3-4-5-6 if growing in medium and flowering for 8 weeks...)

If you do use the Big Bud it works in tandem with the Overdrive. BB elongates and extends the buds then OD fills them in.
