G13 BX F2 - by JLP

G13 BX F2 by JLP

Some notes on my methods of cultivation and setup:
I'm an indoor grower, in soil, and organic to the extreme, which means I give my plants the least amount of (100% organic) nutes possible and only when my plants seem to require it. I use a 400W Philips SON-T Agro in a cool tube for lighting, and the plants are placed under the 400W from start. All of my plants are vegged until they reach sexual maturity, presenting both alternated branching and preflowers before going 12/12.

Nutes and Supplements
Bull's blood (pure nitrogen - used in veg)
Plagron Algae Grow
Plagron Algae Bloom
Plagron Phyt-Amin (minerals, vitamins, amino-acids used both in veg and in bloom)
Epsom Salts and an iron supplement
GH Ripen to finish them off and flush the soil, used 14 days before end of flower

Grow Notes
The G13 was given to me by fellow IC Mag user and good friend Cannaddicto when she was 30 days into veg and showing preflowers. When I received her she was farily rootbound and quite small for her age. This is her when she arrived at my house one cold evening, my friend Canna saved the day, as before her arrival I had only two females out of 10 plants

Three days and one repotting later she was looking like this:

She went into flower immediately upon her arrival, as my other plants were ready for 12/12...and so was she. This plant was gorgeous, all the way through flower, not one problem, just smooth flowering, and she filled out beautifully. Many many budsites, very branchy lady, she was a joy! At a certain point she had even assumed a rectangular shape to perfectly fit into my grow...

She produced a huge amount of buds, indeed this plant is an above average to excellent yeilder, the buds were literally glistening with trichs, and even the popcorn buds were large.

Here she is just before the chop!

Smoke Report

The buds have been cured for a month in jars, after a drying process 15 days long. As said above, this plant is an excellent yeilder!

Appearance
The buds are shades ranging from forest green to pale green, and covered in very visible trichs

Smell

The smell is unmistakeable and strong....though the plant doesn't stink at all even in flower, the dried buds have a knockout smell of pure crude petroleum...like getting a whiff of an oil rig.....heavy duty!

Taste

The taste is the same as the smell...heavy duty petroleum, with just a hint of honeydew/melon on the exhale....very smooth smoke, full bodied and pleasant though personally I'm not partial to the petroleum flavor.

High
The high is immediate, powerful, and will knock you on your ass! No creeping with this one....you take a hit and BAM! you feel it...take another and BAM! This one will not leave you hanging there, she will take you where you want to go, slicing straight through the bullshit....immediate, potent and rough, not for the inexperienced smoker, the more you smoke the more you find yourself plastered to where you're sitting and if you smoke too much, you'll know, she'll get your head spinning, even when you're sitting down.

This is a powerful indica....heavy duty and if you're looking for a powerful no frills straightforward smoke you'll love it! Easy to grow, doesn't need much in the way of nutes, highclass indica total body stone, I am not a med user but I can imagine this one has much potential in the med field.

JLP did a bang-up job with this one for sure! Hats off to ya JLP!

Another excellent report, blue...
and now that you menion it my G13 has a subtle chemicalish(not from nutes) taste... hints of crude oil describe it pretty well, although the melon/fruitiness dominates the pheno I have...

Thanks H3ad, cannadragon.

H3ad, the petroleum smell on mine is incredibly pronounced....so much so that you can't even smell the honeydew/melon fruitiness which you get a hint of in the flavor of the smoke. I've never smelled anything like it....wonder if the deisel strains smell and taste like this, I still haven't had the pleasure of tasting those.

Its like sticking your nose in a jar of petroleum jelly I know its not the nutes because I'm organic to the extreme, and my plants get thoroughly flushed before being finished....wonder if JLP could stop by and shed some light on the different phenos of this plant....I only had one to go by so I don't know what can be expected out of them.
