When Pigs Fly
Its hard to tell from my little digital camera, but there is a eradication chopper landing on that distant knob. Last, week, i was stuck in a sinkhole for an hour while 9 searchers piled out of a chopper that had landed within 300' of where i have plants. I couldnt even leave! In all my years of growing i have never had so much aereal pressure. I have cataloged their flight patterns/ times/days for years and i thought I knew what days they came on, what times and what areas they searched heavily. Not anymore. They come every single day and all times of the day, from daylight untill 8:45 pm, and that doesnt even include the local sheriffs dept and their shiny new chopper and eradication team. What the hell is goin on man? I thought all the xtra choppers were in IRAQ and that budget cuts were going to hurt the erad effort?

Ive said it many times before, that the technologies are tested in the theatre of war before being used against all of us. |

Damn SB
That would scare the shit out of me. We do not have any fly overs that I know of. I get freaked out when a small plane goes over let alone landing to take out some MJ. So I take they did not find your plant/plants (I know you plant in singles)? Did you know about the plants or the grower they landed for? |

What's a gallon of aviation fuel go for???
Flying around looking for plots of weed is such a waste of resources! I guess we can afford it... |

no shit bro, with these high fuel prices it is hard to explain riding around for hours and hours to get a few veggin plants and some ditchweed......according to norml, in my state there were 1,799 plots eradicated but only 72 arrests....these guys gotten tighten up the ship or quit wasting taxpayer money choppin ditchweed and not bustin anyone. i know that sounds like i am on favor of people getting busted, thats not it at all. i just think Joe Public who doesnt like or is against cannabis use needs to lobby for his tax payer dollars to be spent more efficiently i.e. stop usin the choppers....i am VERY scared of choppers....thats the only way my shit will get busted and it frightens me. if choppers spot a small patch close to my house but not on my property will they be able to get a warrant for my home based on proximity? there is nothing to tie me to my grow other than this website and proximity....any thoughts or ideas?

The elderly cant get medicine, children that are hungry, bridges falling down, who the hell is picking the priorites? Your tax dollars hard at work Ulysses.
We can shoot that crow out of the sky farmaz2. That was a crow wasn't it? My eyesight's not quite as good nowadays. hamstring, you couldn't have driven a thumbtack in my ass with a sledgehammer. They didn't get anyones pot and I only had 1himalayan gold plant there and I know they cant see 1 plant, they searched a big Sumac stand which looks similar to pot but I think it was some kind of training exercise. There was one porker that was talking to the others and pointing. They were on the ground only 10 minutes and then took off and hovered while they practiced repelling from the chopper. It was a regular shitfest andyaub. I needed clean pants after they left. They flew straight in on me and its hard to hear a chopper comming towards you. I don't know how they didn't see me but I jumped under a small tree until they moved and then i hit the sinkhole. |

dude Im blessed with water near enough to me that i would submerge all but my head and slink up under some overhanging brush and then start praying. I know in some places they use FLIR to find outdoor grows by looking for cooler lines running abnormally (irrigation) or unusually cool blotches (freshly watered plants) and then use the FLIR to scan the area for warmth to locate the cancer ridden med pot patient cowering in the nearby stand of bushes. i just wish the cops would fuck off, i mean seriously, why cant they be like the fire department? i just dont understand how cops got into the role they have in society where they are all up in everything. You dont see fire men just roaming around looking for fires to put out....they stay at the station and chill til they are REALLY needed. if firemen behaved like cops there would be a motherfucker standing there blowing out your lighter before you could light your smoke every time you struck it.
Silverback, you seem to know alot about choppers and i understand you are from the SE as well. i am wondering if planting near state or county lines, high intensity powerlines, or interstates has any effect on chopper risk. i am somehwat close to all of these things and could manage any one or maybe a combination of the three. |

The Helicopters searched the heaviest ever last year, and I anticipate it to be the same this year. The reason in my area is because Mexican cartel grows are becoming more common here, so the Feds are giving massive funding for the local Sheriff to keep the choppers in the air.
But the choppers usually only search in late summer here, when the plants are largest and easier to see.
