OD mothers and crosses

Im interested in what strains being grown outdoors this summer that your consider good enough to end up in yours or your friends mother room for winter grows or for next summer's OD grows and the ones that not making seeds from would be a crime against nature..

I have several people that pester me for cuttings each summer and 2 commercial growers. I think Ive supplied mothers for half the weed grown around here. I make the commercial guys buy me 2 packs of seeds of my choosing for theirs, but I give the others away. Overgrow the world you might say.

Here's mine so far this year.

1. Cream Caramel, sweetseeds. This plant is impressive in every way. Good vigor and health, clones like a dream, is going to be a good yielder and if potency is what is expected, it will rate higher than sensi star and thats saying something. This one has had 3 branches at every node and Ive passed out one bunch of clones already. If you're an indica lover, you want to look into this strain.

Isn't it a pretty plant? It shows real promise and will be in my shed this winter. Ive just started her flowering. I suspect she is a branch breaker.

My second mother is gonna be this Sensi Star plant. Anybody thats ever grown the strain knows why. Just not many that can replace her badass mule kick. Say what you will about sativa's, but grown well and cured well, this strain can panic an experience toker. I never tire of her 12 LB sledge hammer high. Of all the people Ive given clones too, there's no question that this strain is the most popular.
This particulare one says champion to me and is about to offer up a round of offspring. She will likely be a winter grow for me and I have 2 hopeful adoptive parents just waiting to pick up thier new baby

Last, but by know means least is Maple leaf indica. I just stand over her and stare. Im making f2's with her, cloning her and breeding her to a DP white widow male and a Texada Timewarp male. Its a wonderful outdoor and indoor cannabis plant in every way. Indoors, a 75 days to harvest strain. Outdoors, the toughest plant Ive ever grown.

I know your not growing all those wonderful outdoor ladies just for sweet memories. Lets see and hear what strains you think are good enough to make the cut from this years outdoor and why. Im hoping you'll sell me on a new strain for next years OD.

Hey FirstTracks and LemonCake

What made that Blue widow your all time fav LC? I have the seeds / strain from Joeyweed and Ive been wondering about it and how it grows. Im not sure what widow NCGA used as a mom or what BB they used as a dad, but it couldn't be that different I hope. Did you grow it in ground? What was it's size at harvest and how much did you harvest? I want to grow it.
Thats suprising to hear about the ECSD, i always viewed it as probably a week indoor strain. So much for preconcieved notions huh?

Hey sativa92. Dr. Atomics BBXNL comes very close to your wishes. The NL leaning pheno is done by the 3rd week of Sept,(as long as you're not too far north) and is potent as hell with a good NL yield. I have it growing now OD, i'll get some pics in the next few days and post them.

Ive always wanted to grow Strawberry cough but you can never find any good outdoor reports on it..

Good thread SB! Im working with alot of genetics..mostly proven stuff. Some untested. Off the top of my head is Esbe's B3N7xErd/PurT. Its a lovely plant that I grew last season with great results. Harvest OD Oct9th...solid dense nuggets all over it.
Next up would be Chunky Cheese..no paticular order here just as I think of them. But CC is a yielder. Ive grown Sensi star..and loved it. And it is a performer, however AK47 will do the same things. I have a land race Paki....that is so potent. And a OG kush (abusive) x PTK that is very awesome...blowing everything else away. Then there is Blow Fish S-1....have had a hard time getting the #s of it this season Id like to have run. It is a very potent and lovely tasting plant. On the top 5 list for sure. Then is Deep Chunk....its a pre-historic looking beast. Crazy beautiful in flower. Just doesnt yield like I d like to see, so maybe Ill work on that. Thinking to cross it to the Paki... Ive got Jacks cleaner and it looks to be a yielder aswell.......Ive got alot of favorites...to many this season will be the proveing grounds. I like the sounds of the MLI indica your running aswell as the Caramel. Ill post some pics in a minute try to jazz this thread up with some porn real quick!

Here are the lines...

Here are the lines...

Last years Deep Chunks

These didnt get very big yield was 3 Os or less per plant.Do to water/moisture avail etc. But man look at them. No herms ntothing abnormal, some variances in flowering times and clusters. Looked like three basic phenos. The last pic is the Hashplant pheno I think. The one TH mentioned. If a guy could get 50 of those he'd been in some good headstash shape. This season Im doing some DC breeding. Ive numerouse batches from bros here. And some from the man himself. So Ill mix them and keep them seperate as well.

Hey HK. I have some of the B3n7. I thought esbe lived in the north somewhere and it was an auto, but your finish date tells me i don't know anything about it. Illl have to get you to fill me in.
The paki sounds good. Can you grow that indoors? I had serious bug problems with the AK i grew, but you've sold me on the russian, its on my list!
But if the ogkush x ptk blows everything else out of the water, why are we talking about those other strains? Where do u get ogkush? and where do you get that cross?

Ive tried the chunk and it just don't yeild for me. Ill stick with the ML. Im curious HK, were your DC seeds great big ole greyish seeds, almost waxy looking?.

Actually Ive some diversity in the seeds. Some were odd shaped etc, and striped. Others were light tans ,browns, grays and slightly mottled. The OG Kush is abusives cut that is floating around. Good and potent, the PTK is PIne Tar Kush an ibl paki from Tom Hill. The cross a bro done....Ill be keeping the best cut of it. And then F2ing the for seeds. Its just crazy vigorous. It s funny seeing the Danish growers plants grow, and by that Im referring to the difference in plants growth form here to there. Last yr my DC were in mid floral and Esbe's were just starting. That B3N7xErd/PurT will grow some nice plants. my best tasteing plant last year was a White Russian..as good as the Bubba Ive smoked., probably tastier. The Paki probably could be done indoors. I havent done it. It certainly was very potent however, and of the samples I was gifted one was right there old school ghani/paki. So I know its in the line and its potent,I now have to grow alot of seed to hunt my keeprs. Thats on the to do list this season. This one has only been in country for a minute. Few peeps have it, to my knowledge any way. But many will this fall......provideing it all works out.

Hey Silverback,
I am digging this thread man..and that Cream Caramel..get the fuck outta here..wow she's a beauty.I am a sensi star lover from way back.It was my first serious grow outdoors.I grew Jamaican Pearl the first yr and that just didn't cut the mustard. The SS the following rocked and hooked me as an outdoor grower gal for life..lol.
I have some neat F2's a friend from Denmark made.No not Esbe, although I am honored to have some of his work going as well.
Anyway, Sweetloaf is a plant that has impressed me a lot so far.I believe shes from Cannabiogen.Capricho is the father. That I know for sure.Another good one he did is Mikado x Dark Kush.Dark kush is from Blue Hemp I believe.Sorry for all the uncertainy.Iam not at home to research but wanted to respond to your awesome thread.
I agree with Lemon Cake on the ECSD.It was by far my best outdoor last yr and just gets better an better.I am also very pleased with how my snowdog clone is doing.I LOVE this pot. Some say she isn't potent enough. They must be smoking something different than me cuz she's plenty potent...and flavor that goes on FOREVER!!
Also about the Blue Widow.NCGA used a 98 aloha white widow. You were one fortunate toker to have that one LC.
I have some of Joey Weeds NL x C99 going now.I started them real late but they are VERY vigorous...and very uniform. My first grow with JW and I'm impressed so far. These pics are a couple weeks old but
Heres one of my ecsd..shes a beast..lol

C99 x og kush abusive

chem d

triangle aka the white

A revegging original Diesel

JW's NL x C99..(green pots)..orange pot is a very stinky Petrolia headstash x Og kush

Hi Buddle.

You should see the Cream Caramels now. On July 2, i started putting them in and out under 13.5, as that's about the daylight length here on Aug 1 when plants begin to flower usually and I want to make a few seeds on lower branches of the best plant and i want the seeds to be acclimated. Plus, i want to see how long it takes her to start producing flowers once that daylength is met.

They also have a good thick solid stem for outdoor

All three together

You understand about the Sensi star. She really is special. Each year i grow a number of strains and undoubtedly Im looking over my jars of SS like a mother hen, wondering if there's enough to last until the next harvest. Honestly, i compare all strain potency to her.
Your plants look good. The Mikado cross sounds good. I grew Mikado OD last year and it didn't finish for me at all, which I thought was very strainge given the breeders description. It was however, very potent and tasty even though it wasnt fully mature. I would love to try a well grown/ cured sample
