Assorted AF questions - Mdanzig Seeds - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

Hey all, sort of new here. I used to lurk on overgrow a bit before I ever thought of growing and a while back a buddy of mine told me this is where most of you guys ended up. I've messed around with outdoor gardening the last couple summers and it just isn't cutting it for me. Thieves, cold snaps, lots of fuckin cops, I'm done. So I built a couple little rubbermaid units (thanks to my morning ritual, rereading redgreenerys DIY lounge thread over and over) and some AF seeds from lowlife, ready to give it a shot. Enough bojanglin' though, onto the questions:

1. 20/4 24/7 or 18/6? And should I switch at any point? From what I gather almost all the AF will grow in 24/7 but alot of people offer other numbers and this would be the place to ask.

2. Making femm'd seeds: How would I go about forcing a female to throw seeds? I've read about training method on regular strains but mother nature always took care of that for me. If someone could elaborate that'd be awesome.

3. What size pots should I transplant to from my 20 oz soda bottles if I'm doing a rubbermaid setup? I'm guessing 1 or 2 gallons but I'm having a hard time figuring out what needs to be different for an AF strain that grows shorter and smaller,

4. And how you all doin'?

Any feedback would be awesome, I just planted today. I'll be taking pictures as I go and posting them when they matter but there ain't much to shoot yet. Thanks to chubbynugs for pointing me in the direction of the Mdanzig forums, I've been looking for an AF-only spot for a bit since highbred won't seem to send me validation.

Hope these answers help.
1. I use a hps 24/7 lighting for optimal yields. You should run that light cycle from the start to end.
2.There are several ways to make a female shoot out nut sacks. look up colloidal silver or light poisoning.
3. I would use at least a one gallon pot but if you can use two gallon pots go for it. I notice a significant difference when i use two gallon pots as opposed to one gallon pots.
4. I am stoned and feel great.

what nutrents do yall suggest? should any veg nutes be used? or only flower

Veg nutes will definitely help.

Is it possible to light poison autoflowers, how would you do this, because i thought they flower because of maturity, regardless of light cycle?

Its possible if you do them on 20/4. Its actually possible period I think. I went crazy on one plant...4 hours of light..2 of dark, one of light, 3 of dark, two of low low light, like, sitting infront of my computer, aggressive trimming and eventaully an icewater bath and I got it to go hermie. Put it outside to finish but had to pull it up before it quite finished. I dissected the seed pods and they were runty, half formed seeds.
