Heat stress UltraHaze#1
My airconditioner was taken away by the person who owns it and my plants that were in 9th week of budding got really heat stressed. I have the temp controlled now but the poor plants look like hell. Any suggestions?? Thanks.

Hi Rafe!
If the plants are heat-stressed you can spray the foliage with Colloidal Silver (a natural antibiotic) during dark hours, and feed some folic acid through the root system. It's the best recovery method for heat stroke. ;-) |

Heat stressed Ultra Haze
Thanks Franco, I have 4 clones in a bubbler that are really packing the roots on. Don't know if I should put them in dirt or keep them in water. I've never grown in a bubbler but I have the nutes and was thinking of trying 2 in dirt and 2 in water. Is it ok to take them out of the bubbler cloner and put them in dirt?? Since we will be going into cooler weather these won't get cooked. Thanks for your help buddy and looking forward to seeing you in the Dam and sharing a toke with you.

UltraHaze#1
I guess I have taken maybe 6 clones off the last plant before I got rid of them, I put it outside in a area where I usually burn things and it has lots of tall weeds and hiding places. The original plant that got heat stressed is reveging like crazy and will probably finish outside. I have 4 clones in water and 2 clones that I took from water and put in dirt. They are doing real well. They are going to 12/12. As far as heat problems. Those are a thing of the past. I have a brand new air conditioner!! The plant clones real well in a bubble cloner. I will put 2 plants in 5 gal. bubble buckets. 1 each. They should grow real well in the bud room. I have a 400 watt HPS over, and a 100 watt CFL down by the bottoms, and 2 x36watt(?)bulbs down at the bottom. The plants will get a lot of light up and down.

best is to use it only during vegging.
But in real emergency is still ok during first 3 weeks of flowering it's no problem, try to avoid spraying the young flowers, spray with a small nozzle just on the green leaf surface. Very light concentration, starting with CS 3% use 10 ml per liter... |

Follow up Arjan's UltraHaze#1
I finally have a follow up on the beautiful 2 UltraHaze#1 plants I had in bud last summer. The plants were in their 9th week of budding and I had to give up my air conditioner for a family member during a heat wave. The plants suffered irreversible damage. I cut 6 clones and put them in a bubble cloner. They sat there forever it seemed until the sprouted new growth and roots. I was going to continue in water but went with what I know. I put the best two clones in a soil mixture I made up. I really forget who long they have been in the bud room. I have had the plants for so long its like they are always here. I'll miss them but it's time to try different strains. Alaskan Ice looks good to me. I will send more pictures in a couple of weeks. Thanks to Franco for a tip on using Epsom salts when the plant looks yellow or pale and lethargic. I use one tablespoon to a gal of water. Leaf feed with spray bottle and the next day you will see results and 2 days later you will be amazed. I am feeding ever 3 days either Indonesian Bat guano or Alaska MorBloom. About every 10 feeding I give a lot of just good tap water that I let sit for a couple days in a open container like a clean 5 gal bucket.
Yes I do have the plants tied down to encourage growth in the middle and to keep the plant out of my 400 watt HPS.
