Hello IC'ers

I wanted to put together a roll-call thread for OCF this year. I'll be there with bell's on - in fact I got behind-the-scenes access because a connection to a super nice old-school gonzo herb journalist.

Who all is going to be there? And if you are what strains are you bringing?

Obviously OCF has cracked down on the open-air-bud market that it used to be but if you're a vendor, volunteer, or are connected to either once the sun goes down the PARTY starts. We should definitely work on a Oregon ICMag session.

Count me in.

I went there once like 20 years ago, I was teen at the time and I was awestruck by all the women running around with no tops, heh heh. Never went back as a adult, though I am sure it would be alot of fun for me. Its just a step or two too far north for me to attend, maybe one of these years I'll break out north for the weekend......

Unfortunately, sort-of.

They got into huge trouble years ago because it was an open-air drug market. They then started their own security force, which won't bust you but if you get caught smokin' they'll toss you out quickly. Which sucks 'cause tix are $20+.

The thing is dope-smoking is still super prevalent and its not hard to blaze, eat shrooms, etc etc. Just not like it once was

As I mentioned if you volunteer, work a food or vendor booth, the real party starts when the fair itself closes down. Also those booths have private party rooms for all-day partying. Get to know someone and you're in.

Im going with my wife and daughter (shes 2). we will probably camp out for 3 days. there are alot of kids/families there. plenty of herb smoke too...more of a peaceful rainbow love atmosphere than a rock concert feel to the fair. also, i think most of the nudity is about an expression of freedom, rather than a sexual thing. lots of women with their breasts out, and cmon folks, you know it aint sports illustrated, these are neo-hippies, not spring breakers.

a bit startled about LEO being there. I know the county sheriff cracked down in 98' my impression was that they were laying off in the past few years. i havent been since before the kid was born, I thought folks were just burning in the open? that changed GW?

ocf is awesome, take some mushrooms and when you go into the "gates" its like a decent down the rabbithole into hippieland. its amazing!! ill be there again this year with another icmager Freebird. Look for the giant drum circle at darlas (you cant miss it) and youll be in our area. i know some of the security as well as promoters so ill try n see what we cando about a lil secretive rendevous for us icmagers and ommp card holders

ANYONE GOT ANY CONNECTIONS TO WORKING WITH THE VENDORS???

I would like that as I am kinda strapped on cash and would like to get it so I can realy fit in, I might roll with couple girls/couple bruhas roadtrip status
