curious why there is only 6 nominations instead of 10? weren't there like 50 to begin with?

Not all nominations make the final cut to become one of the finalists. Finalists are selected by admin based on the nominations made. Is a tough job...lots of good pics...but we'd like the POTM poll to represent the top of the top...the best of the best...so sometimes there are less than 10.
