Great Going on the sprouts RM! We also pride ourselves on many 100% successful germination rates. Nice to know some of our beans are in great hands. Looking forward to seeing your continued progress and success as you nurture the BSH to grow out to be huge beauty beasts. Cheers,

The BSH test grow is on hold due to a mix up and other circumstances beyond my control. More info on the BSH may be available at a later time. Sorry I didn't post earlier.

Time to wipe off the dust in here and see where I left off here. the last photographs were taken before the kids were moved to a foster home. There they resided in poor conditions for quite awhile (2 months?) High temps and humidity, low light, and lots of mites. not the best upbringing. upon their return, tags were lost in and their identity couldn't be assured. It seemed necessary at that point to hold off posting them until id could be assured. As they were still in the original 4" pots it wasn't to hard but better safe than sorry. Here are a few pics after a much needed uppot, mite treatment and a little bit of time to heal:
They hung pretty tough as others didn't survive their environment. One of the four in the earlier pic was axed as it was too weak and unlike the rest. They responded well and kept growing... As they recovered their sex started to show. As it turned out 2 of the three were female, 1 was male. RM

As soon as sex was determined they were switched over. The male, which I was really excited about started showing female flowers. It was subsequently removed. Here are a couple pics of the male:
Now we are down to two female Brainstorm Haze plants out of the 5 germinated. the first is #1 from hereout. It stayed much more squat and has noticeably thinner fan leaflets. The second (#2) stretched twice its height just about in the first two weeks. Very sturdy branch habit on this one. Dark more vigorous look than the first. The flowers were much quicker to form and gain density. I should mention, these were potted in two different mixes. #1 is potted in a standard peat mix. #2 is in coco. #2 suffered a few setbacks during flowering as I forgot it was in coco and let it dry out. Coco seems a little needier I guess. Both were kept near but below 1000ppm with Pure blend for soil, cal-mag (ro water), hygrozyme, and kelp as needed. They are amply lit under an air cooled superblue bulb(600hps/ 400mh). At week 7 the last low dose of pbp was given along with some liquid karma and sweet. At week 8 they were easily leached to 450ppm. Plant number one began to blow up while #2 in coco has held the same form but thickened a bit. I need to mention their scents at this point. #1 is the most wonderfully scented plant in the room, maybe in the top #2 for sweetest finest smelling herb in my garden ever. It has essences of lemon, tropical fruit, pine and even pink bubblegum when the glands are rubbed. When nudged its smell is very evident even next to a 10" filter. Its smell amplifies over everything elsein the room. I'm very excited about this one! Even my harshest critic agrees. #2 has had a soft pine scent throughout. It is just starting to take on soft sweet tones.

Here are a few close shots of #1. She is really starting to fill in and fill out. The purple is forming on calyxes now like lipstick. Getting even more excited about this one as she grows more dense and beautiful by the day.
Here are recent shots of #2. This one is pushing more thick calyx clusters out and has started to fill with resin glands. the purple calyx highlights are starting to show as well: RM
