Any body builders?
Any other pothead bodybuilders on here? I've been going at it pretty hard off and on over the last few years, I think Im doing pretty good considering i've never used the juice. I usually smoke before and after work out, it seems to really improve my training, with eating and sleeping. I've had bigger gains than ever before and I smoke way more weed then ever.

I have noticed that good erb right after training is good, or maybe even the best way to recover your body from hardtraining
![]() But unlike you, I dont like to smoke anymore, before going training, if you do it, you have do it right before going at the gym, otherwise if you smoking indicadom erb/hybrids in general you only got, hmmm... let´s say 75 % of your strength in use, at least with me... So I only smoke after training, infact.. Nothing is more nice than make good pump up/pump work out, when you really push your body/muscles into it´s limits, I simple love that and right after shower smoke joint full of pure sativa :wink:Man, let me tell, if you havent drink enough while training it fuck´s you up, but if you have drank correctly etc.. it can give you unbeliviable amount of energy, almost like speed type of effect, but not still... That is great time enjoy life and take walk into foodjoint to eat, at least that´s how I do it

I've found that a few rips of a pure sativa and an ice coffee give me the boost I need to bust out some heavy reps. I save the hybrids and indicas for after the workout, helps the muscles relax and helps me get a great night sleep hehe and they help me put down 4000+ calories a day.

not into bb, but always interested in dieet, training ideas etc., great stuff. nice to know yer thoughts too on fittin your tokes in with training.

I used to be a body builder and was a heavy pot smoker. After I got to the point of lifting very heavy weights I started blacking out. I wasn't getting enough oxygen. So I started doing tons of cardio work. Mainly riding the stationary bike because I hate to run to the bathroom!!. A tiny bit of weed before a workout can help sometimes but sometimes not. Thats when you get hurt. I recommend it as a treat for after the burn man because you deserve it!! Good luck on the weights and be safe and warm up real good. Injuries can really set you back and psychologically put you on a downward spiral. Stay off the juice!!!!!!!!!! Rest is important too. I only worked each muscle group twice a week. If you have a friend that will do it get massage. It helps with the lactic acid buildup. And use dumbbells as much as you can. Takes more control and build more muscle. Instead of bench press with a bar use dumbbells. You can go down deeper and really get those pecks and back. Good luck and health!

rest is good but weed doesn't help you. no matter how much you may eanna think it does. to build mass you have to go heavy!!!!! im on the way to workout right now. i love working out.

8 reps max are good reps,, very slow and controled.
i cant do very heavy sets after smoking like 1 or 2 max reps.. but it does help me when i have a smoke before hand makes me push myself harder on the weights and i hold the weight a long a possible when i go to failure.. have not worked ouut in a while planning on starting in a day or 2 again. full body 8 reps.. what type of work out routines are ye on?? and which works best for ya |
