MANGO in BLOOM
Allright guys!!!! I started my mango plants yesterday in 12/12..whoooo hoooo
Im so excited..it will be great, i recently got a activated carbon filter,im sure this will take care of my smell problem... Question, Ive got my plants in a growth to bloom formula of 1-1-1 with GH nutes, should i give them about a week of that formula and then switch to the full bllom formula of 1-2-3? just let me know what you guys think!! Thanks... Pics will be posted soon!!! |

Hey Smokey
Hi Buddy....Whose Mango is it..?? There are a few m8, some are pure indica, and some are hybrids as far as I know.I am growing amongst other things..Mango from Kulu Seeds..many people have Kulu seeds, but dont know it as they dont have a name on the packs. Sold in lots of head shops, they are a quite non-descript packet, I have a pic..hang on... there...That is a Kulu packet, urs might not be this mango, but this is the one I know. Very easy to grow IMO, Good yield, likes to be tra\ined, and responds very well too it, the more to pull her down, the more she'll grow out and throw more shoots up. I believe this would make her a fantastic strain for SCROG'ing . Not too tall, but it will grow very big if u pot it large and grow it long enuff, I am going to try it outdoors this summer, no harm in trying is there  , worst thing that happens is I waste a couple of clones...So what, lol. I can hear those woods calling to me, lol.It kicks into action very quick when u flip the lighting to 12/12, usually within a week the flower-sites are forming with fresh white, quite thick long pistils. I have been growing tis for about 8 months now I think..this is the 2nd time I have flowered it, and I am 4 & 1/2 weeks in. The 1st time I flowered it from seed, I had two females from 4 plants that came up outta 5 beans. These looked totally identical in every way right through the seedling stage, vegging, and then up to about 4 weeks into flower, and I began to notice differences between them, in smell and appearence. I have one type((Ill call it type A)) which is A good yielder, with quite long slender, but also thick if u get me buds, with a slighly fruity odur with an earthy smell to it((this is a mango smell-the fruit, it really is mangoey)) and the other one ((Type B)) is much more fat stumpy heavy buds about the girth of a Budweiser bottle and the size of a coke can. this types is the Fruitiest one and the best yielder, with a real mango smell, and some earthyness, but not as earhy as the other. When smoked they taste quite different, but have a very similar strong heavy high, with a lot of body to it, not one for a lightweight or any1 who doesnt like couchlock buzzes, lol. When type A is smoked, the flavour is fruity on the inhale and very earthy on the exhale, and expands a lot in the l;ubgs, prone to making you cough if ur a greedy puffer, lol, it leaves a hashy taste in ur mouth. Type B is Much much fruiier on the inhale, very similar to some So-called Blueverry around these parts a while back, but I cannot confirm that it was blueberry or not. Similar, but not the same, it doesnt taste of mango, nor does the other, but they both smell of them. Anyway, when inhaled the fruit really seems to fill ur throat, it is one that is very pleasant to inhale, and then exhale through the nose to appreciate the full flavour((Although this is a bad way to smoke as it invite more cancers, same way as mouth cancer coz of the delicate cells in the nostrils.)) by doing this you can appreciate the flavour to its fullest, but its only worth doing on the 1st couple of tokes. This one really does seem to expand a lot, and is pure hash on the exhale, leaving a much stronger Hashy taste behing, with some of the fruit intermingled for good measure  . I really like this one, and so does every1 who I have share it with, Type B is my favourite, but A us still just as good, A is not in anyway inferior to B in my opinion, but I just like the flavour of B better. I have taken a cloone in flower of Type B, as I am not certain which of the types my mother is, these clones in flower as of now, were from the plants flowered befroe xmas, I took 3 clones from the 2 plants, 1 from one, and 2 from the other, I have 2 flowering, and the pther is my mother plant. If I loose the Type A, I would not be so bothered, but f I loose type B, I will buy some more to get it back, as they are only cheap seeds anyway, like a tenner a pack tops, usually about 7:99, mine were 5 quid, but the market stall from which I purchased them is no longer there so I wont get em that cheap again. I have a couple of new pics that I took last night, I shall get em up for u bud. Harry

Ok guys, after 53 days in VEG and ten days of water/draining nutes from my plants..I cut em down and hung them up, in total darkness they are drying with a small fan blowing air around in the room. I also have my carbon filter on 24/7 right now.
Soon I will be adding a air conditioner to lower the temp in the room at all times to around 65 to 70 to make sure my plants dry as slow as possible You know I we like that sweet stuff..My mango seriously looks so good..every plant is covered in trichomes...i think i have at least a pound from 20 plants from my 400 watt on a lights mover Pics will be here very soon,Had some problems with my last camera and got a new one now..pics soon! |

Ok,i added pics
Right now, I have chopped down all the plants, removed the trelis, and moved the trelis over to the other side of the grow room, I then added a small window air conditioning unit, and turned it on to keep the room around 68 degree's. Since where I am at it is starting to get warm, my grow room tends to get hot durring the day, well it just happened to be my luck that the lights are off night and the plants are dying in total darkness. The temps is right and the budz are looking good I got a VEG room going, but it is about to be shut down do to mold growing around the baseboards Having some problems with my aero cloner...its not making my clones grow roots very fast? not sure what the problem could be,still researching it I clipped off all the major fan leaves and have left the little leaves attached to make the plants dry real slow, for a nice sweet tast So far they look incredible, my friend says my bud is th best homegrown bud he has ever seen is his life Pics will come when I am ready to start curing within the next week or so Thanks guys, you helped so much PS. cleaning out your hydro system after you harvest is a pain in the ass! |
