GHSC R&D Lab: Colored Seeds Germination Test
Hi everyone,
The colored seed revolution has begun!! I have some nice pictures for everyone to check out what we have been doing in the green house seed co. research and development lab. The first picture series is the official green house seed co. germination test of colored seeds that contain an anti-pathogene and a root stimulator. I have seen a lot of questions asking when we will be releasing the first colored packets and I have some news for those people. The first packs will be available in 2 months! Maybe earlier, but to play it safe, let's say 2 months! We have been testing all batches of colored seeds in our lab to make sure they are of the best quality possible. Our selection process has also improved through a new technique we have developed over the past years. All new batches of seeds are tested in our lab, to make sure that our germination ratio stays as high as nature allows. enjoy...

I have also a 100% germination ratio with my non colored seeds. For me what it is important is the product not the looks.

Is the color coating flavored?
Just in case I get hungry and there's a seed that fails germination...

Curious how the germination test works, or I should say how does GHS germs their seeds?
Do you soak/spray the seeds, then sit them in the petri dishes? Are they put in petri dishes dry, and they soak up enough water from the white pads to germ? Does this coat absorb and hold water to germ the seeds? |

Color-coated seeds need to germinate directly in the medium where the seedling is going to grow for the first days of its life. This way, the seedling will benefit from the root stimulator and the anti-patogen present in the coating.
Do not pre-soak color-coated seeds in water! The coating will dissolve, making the seeds unidentifiable and losing the beneficial properties contained in the coating itself. we have 2 new germination methods/descriptions which will be supported by new pictures. Colored seeds need to be germinated differently than normal seeds. |
