was wondering what nutrients youuse and what you ph them at

im useing botanicare and was wondering if i should ph it to 6.4 or 5.8

With Promix and my regular tap water I have never worried about PH and had great healthy plants with excellent yields. Promix has dolomite lime to buffer the PH. If the water your using is around PH of 7 without nutes, you should be fine to use it just the way it is when nutes are added. This is what I have noticed, but my water could give me great results while yours does not. I don't think it would be that way if you have a PH of 7, but I guess other factors could be involved. Just my 2 cents.

i use pro mix hp and used botanicare nutes with it and advanced nute with it and technaflora with it and gh flora nova and flora three part ( only the mmicro and bloom though) i use reverse osmosis water and when i used botanicare i always used 5 ml of cal mag to the ro water first and then 15 ml of pbp grow and 10 ml likuid karma and watered with that once a week, i used to ph it at 6.0 on the money no more than 6.2 though should go into it and no lower than 5.8.

when i used the gh line i used the rez dog lucas formul which is 6 ml of micro and 9 ml of bloom per gallon, and this is used for vegative growth and bloom cycle ph the same as botanicare 6.0 no higher than 6.2 and no lower than 5.8

with advanced iused the whole 2+ line and ph the solution to 6.2 which is what they recomed, then i used it at 6.0 and got better results.

dont no bout tap water cuz i dont use it never have nut once and never will again

ps- i feed 2 times and the third is plain water flushed with 25% run off then nest time they need watering i give them 2 more mute feed s followed by the same flush

2 feeds and one flush, 2 feeds one flush and so on.... i like smileys too, but only the "mean" ones.

lol nice this is perfect i used botanicare and i like to know the ph of everything and do it perfect so i sould ph at 5.9-6.0

yep but what kind of water are you using??

it will help me help you better if i could know what kind-o-water you are using, tap, distilled ro or britta filtered or what??

I have found that I have had more problems changing my PH than not with Promix. If you add 2 table spoons of dolomite lime per gallon of promix, I can almost guarantee you won't need to measure PH to get good results. But like others said they measure their PH and get good results too, may be better than me. So I guess there is more than one way to skin a cat. Do what you feel most comfortable with. My experience with prox mix and added lime (2 TB per gallon) is no checking of PH is needed. The PH of my plain tap water is anywhere from 7.2-7.5 and I don't adjust it weather I am adding nutes or not when watering.

It sure is nice skipping PH checking.

I have actually found myself with PH issues when I have actually tried to keep PH in check with a digital pen, etc.. Not sure if it was due to the meter being off or an effect from the PH down solution. (I have heard it can have a cumulative effect in soil, whatever stable acid it is in most PH down)

My meters have gone unused for a few cycles now.

I feed in the soil with additives like Earth worm castings and chicken poop.

Then feed with Big Bloom and Tiger bloom througout flowering.

I ph my tap water (which is over 8.0) to 6.0 and use GH Flora + Lucas Formula. Using all 3 bottles right now, just because I have them, and will switch to Rez's formula when my green runs out.
