a haze question for Franco
I am getting ready to order some haze seeds from the greenhouse, but I am not sure which kind to buy. I have never grown any type of haze before but I have grown a few indica/sativa mixes in the past. My room is about 5x5, 7 ft tall, and lit by a 400w hps. I will be growing in DWC bubble buckets using canna nutes. I just want to know which strain will be easy for me to grow under these conditions. Thanks any response will be greatly apreciated. And keep up the good work, and also say what's up to arjan.

Man I have some of that arjans haze 2 and they get tall as hell mine is up in the ceiling and im using 1400 watt i tried my first ever haze grow years ago with a 400 watt and had to go buy a 1000 watt in the middle of flowering cause that 400 could not get to those bottom buds and it paid off i had a arm on the tree that came in over a ounce. With this arjans though I have had to tie most of the branches up cause the buds are so heavy and rock like the branches are bending.

My favorites are Hawaiian Snow (high and flavor) and Strawberry Haze (flavor). They are both quite delicate ladies, but with some extra P and K during peak flowering you should get good results. 400 Watts is ok, but you have to watch out; if you don't SCRoG the lower branches will struggle in the shade, too far from the light.

I have one more question. I also have a 400w mh that I usualy use for vegging my plants do you think I should just add that into my flowering room since I won't need to really veg. For to long or just stick with the hps for the flowering.

if your ventilation system allows it, add the MH to the flowering room.
More light = more bud + more resin The spectrum is important, but the intensity of the light is more important. Rule of thumb: you will get better buds with a 1000 watts Mh than with a 400 watts HPS but watch the temperature! Too hot = less bud and more bugs!!! |
