looking good Rocky, cant wait to see how they turn out. The LUI and Grapefruit should make a tasty combo; with the blend of LUI's lemoney taste (to me anyways) and the grapefruit taste, damn will it be a citrusy cross.

On the morning of 4/20 Studley finally opened a few pollen sacs. I was able to harvest that and selected females have now been pollinated. Poor, poor Studley, may he rest in peace. I did however, take 5 cuttings from him for future back crosses.
The female GF is the pride of the grow. She is by far the fullest of all my plants. I'm just amazed at the number of bud sites. One thing I've noticed, I added Earth Juice Micro Blast to my regimen. The GF loves it, but the LUI showed signs of stress within days of their first dose. Maybe its just an Indica thing, they won't get it again. I'll just give them Liquid Karma. I'm going to move the gal to where I can get some decent pix of her, and will post them later this week end.

I have a Hawaiian from my last grow that has an overpowering smell and taste of GF.
Because this jar was in the back of the cabinet, its taken 3 1/2 months to discover I had a Grapefruit pheno. I had a few friends over last night, didn't say anything, just handed them a bowl. I loved the reaction. Eyes got big, mouths dropped open, and they were like "damn dude, what is this and where'd you get it?" This Hawaiian strain is one of the best I've ever had, and it was hard to believe the GF pheno was better than the rest. Sure gives me "High" hopes for this crop.

Well, better late than never. Heres new pix. Sorry for the poor quality but pix shot under the HPS look like crap, so I shot these this morning just before lights came on.
This is one gorgeous lady and she smells soooooooo good. I have a Grapefruit Bowl from Sunshine Seeds along side of her and I'm amazed at how much a like they look. A slight difference in branch structure, and you have to be looking for it. Other than that, practically identical. We'll see what the end results have to say. I guess about 5-6 weeks to go and I'm mighty impatient.

Ok ok, I've been slacking. I'll go down and shoot some pix today. This baby is really starting to gain weight and the hairs are turning a golden brown.
On a sadder note, I've spotted what looks like banannas' forming. I fear she is about to hermie. Its about 2 weeks or so shy of being done, I'd hate to have to take her early, but, I'm making seeds this crop and can't risk contamination.
