The spacing on the nodes is really short, 1/4" or less, so I'm going to let them get as big as I can during veg. Just gonna let 'em go au naturale. I'm planning to go 60 days, then flower. On the last transplant before flowering, I'll put these in 10 gal. nursery pots. I'm only doing 1/2 my usual number of plants this grow, so everyone will have plenty of room. I'm looking for some great results with this one.

I've been slacking here and I apololgize. Last week end I transplanted to 1 1/2 gal pots. As of yesterday, I can see 1 of the 2 is definitly a boy. I have some of Sunshines Grapefruit Bowl along side of these. 3 of the 6 are male and will get the chop tomorrow. I is showing female preflower already.
I'll keep the male GF. I have 6 LUI in here as well, and I'm gonna pollinate a couple of them with Reefermans GF, Ultimate Grapefruit sounds mighty tasty.
New pix soon I promise.

Heres the pic. The 2 biggest are Reefermans GF, other 4 are Sunshines Grapefruit Bowl. The plant in the small pot is a Bog BMR. I also have 6 LUI, not shown.

I guess there are a couple LUI showing in the foreground.

Mucho Kudos to Reeferman, these Grapefruits are getting beautiful. We're at 44 days veg and they are just as full as can be. 1 male and 1 female, I'll be taking a few cuttings of the lady this weekend, and hope to be collecting some pollen before to much longer. Yesterday they were transplanted into 10 gal pots, and have two more weeks of veg. Heres a new garden pic, I'll try to shoot some close ups this week end.
RM, thanks again, I'm loving these!

The female is center foreground, she had a touch of nute deficiency at an early age. The male is in the square bucket. Already putting out some awesome Grapefruit smell when I brush against 'em. Can't wait for that 1st taste.

For the last couple of weeks I've been watching this plant, thinking it was a male. After 53 days of veg, it up and showed preflowers yesterday. So, although only 2 of 6 came up, they're both females. Yeah!

Is grapefruit a new strain for reeferman?? I ask because of the test aspect.. I know GF is a pretty old strain and reefers is suppose to be the same.. not just the same name.. I am very interested in growing this strain.. I love every GF cross I have grown..

Organic Vapor this is indeed a new strain for Reeferman. He was good enough to send me a few for a test shortly after their release.
I'm very impressed with them. They have displayed vigorous growth, and the only problem I've encountered was that they wanted feeding earlier than I'm used to. Since then, they have just taken off and outgrown everything else in my room.
I'd recommend these with no hesitation.
