Bid Early Autoflowering pheno and Non Autoflowering pheno
I got five bid early seeds as a freebee from seedbay.
3 of the 5 popped not sure what happened to the other two... i think at the time i was being lazzy n something happened to them either way... out of the 5 i got 3 out of the 3 i got 2 girls one of them is the auto pheno. from what i've read the auto pheno will start to auto when it gets root bound.. i have these plants currently in 20L trash cans. i will be transplanting them to 30L containers this week, then putting them outside in june... the auto pheno i have pollinated with some automatic ak47 put out by lowlife. i'm not sure if i will move the plant that is autoing outside or if i will just keep it inside... thats still up in the air... i wonder if i unbind the roots if it will keep auto flowering or if it will start to veg again... since its started n pollinated i really don't want to find out whats going to happen so i may just repot the one that is still defiantly in veg.. these plants have has such explosive growth i can completely understand why they say its nearly impossiable to keep a mother plant going indoors... i started some other seeds around the same time as these... its amazing how much faster the bid early grew in comparison to the other strains.... here are the photos: This is the autoflowering pheno: This is the non autoflowering pheno: |

This is really interesting. Looks like a good specimen for AF genetics.

Thanks for sharing farmer, those are some big girls ya got there! You made me realize I never posted my Biddy freebies. I popped them awhile back to celebrate magus winning awards at the (CC?) I too got 3/5 on these Biddy Early seeds. My seedlings sadly went unfed too long and these took the worst of it. They have been fed now and are greening up fast for how hungry they got. I hope to get these outside but we'll see. Hope ya don't mind if I show them. R. Motabonne
Thanks Magus! sorry about the hps glow but my speedflash is down.

Those look like they need much bigger pots using a much better soil mix. PM me and I'll give you an excellent basic soil-mix, that will work great for you.

if nothing else i have some f2 auto ak giant pheno going soo i should have some pollen in about a month.. i wasent really expecting this bid to auto.. it just fell into my lap, perhaps gerrit can chime in with some more information about the auto pheno, i wonder if i could slow down the auto process by repotting it... i'm 1/2 tempted to give it a shot... i suppose it wouldn't really hurt the plant... i don't think it will revege it at least, just slow down the flowering process a bit maybe let the plant stretch a bit more... these auto triggers fascinate me that and photo sensitivity.. anyway.. i'm just ranting.. thanks for the comments :-) Quote:
I'd have to agree with madzing i'd put them in 5galon containers, i used BioBizz All-Mix soilmix right out of the bag no additives.. i think a couple times i dumped some canna nutriants on them i was feeding to some coco plants i had going.. just to make sure they were getting fed, but for the most part the biobizz all-mix right out of the bag has worked great for me with these. i also gave them some cal-mag when watering them.. :-) i hope yours turn out to be green giants too :-) |

I'm not sure how many if any of the seeds will auto from this, but i do know there will be two auto flower triggers laced into the genetics. you could call this the poor mans way of making an auto flower or an easy way of making an auto flower or a couple other things, butwhat it all boils down to this pheno is a good candidate for making an auto flowering outdoor strain. Hopefully the offspring will be taller then the auto ak while still retaining its high potency, sativa plant structure and auto flowering characteristics. While also retaining the high potency, sativa plant structure, explosive growth and mold resistance of biddy early :-) Quote:

I don't think I have any autoflowerers as I let mine get too rootbound in 6" pots and didn't fert too long, they went pretty darn yellow. They are strting to really take off now, good crystal content too!
