trying to swicth over to hydro, and using recirculating areo, anyhow my plants look great 24-30 inches, but hardley any roots are coming out of net pots, i mean you can see roots but not like prior DWC's i've done. Are they just getting plenty of what they need(nutes and oxygen) or is something wrong? thanking u in advance.

You wouldn’t have a picture of your system and those roots would ya, some times visual add helps a lot.

sorry no pics, my dog ate my my camera, getting new one this weekend. but anyway i have rezwith pump and air stone, connected to a manifold, connected to 6 buckets with misters that drain back to rez, but on the other hand my DWC dont have very long roots either.
most are white or lite tan, using fox farm big bloom, and tiger bloom. its the same strain i've been running for about a year and always had roots before.

I would say that somethin is goin on...if your at 24-30", i would take a guess and say you've been vegg'n for a lil over 3 weeks?? Any which way, your roots should definately be swirlin...can you give a lil more info?? PPm's, ph, etc...how does the leaves look?? any discoloration, burnt tips, blotches??

why dont you start with an air layer and then go from there.

air layer? SQ- ph is 5.5 to 6, dont know my ppms yet,the leaves look like a slight mag def, overall look healthy, they are not pointing up / ,same system as before it sat a little while, but i cleaned and run hydrogen perocide thru.
the thing that gets me is i veged them in a rubbermaid with the same kind of misters.
any suggestion on ppm meters?

well looking around and come to find that some of my rocks (mixture of lava and hydrocorton) has some whiteish stuff on it but only at the top of the net pots. down where it gets sprayed it's not. ??????

plyinindirt- To me it sems you are giving them to much water... Stop ruinning your recirculating areo 24/7.. You should run it on 1hr on 4hrs off ... For at least a week... Your off time should be how ever long it take your room to dry the hydrocrons half way through the top of the basket.. So when you pull the basket out it should not drip any water. It should look like it has dry moring dew...
