GHS Cheese Pheno(s)....post pics of your best
I am just curious, since it is technically a cross, and pheno type variations will exisit, I would love to know exactly what traits I am looking for in the "Cheese" pheno.
Other than that, let's see pictures of your best GHS Cheese pheno!!! And this does not need to be limited to just bud shots. |

this is my pheno of the cheese. More of a limey/skunky smell to it, finishes between 9-10 weeks, i cut mine at 9 but if you want 100% amber with this pheno 10 weeks or 11 will result in heavy couchlock, even with the skunk-ish formed buds.

Nice one Dr Herbivore! The limey/skunkyness is almost visible in the pics.... The 9th week definetely gives it the terpene profile that we all know....

hey all, thanks for those who have posted....I figured with all the bitching and moaning going on around here about it not being the "real" cheese that there would be more posts on what pheno was the keeper and which ones where just okay, BUT I guess, I am the only one who thinks a keeper can be found...??????????????!!!!???! !!??!!?!?!?!?!?!????
Granted, I have seen some good/great GHS cheese pics, but compared to the uk cut, they are all different to some degree...not assuming this is a bad/negative thing....for the record, just different I have a thread w/ my cheese posted on it (just vegging), but I just wanted to kinda see what every one else was finding... I have read many times about a "double serated fan leaf" that happens with original cheese, but my plant is not showing this known trait....it is there in the mix, b/c I see a double seration on 2:5 leaves, but not on the whole leaf...just kinda at random on all leaves, there will be on part that shows the trait....meaning to me that "x cheese" pheno exists, but needs to be found anyone know what I am looking for in the keeper???? franco...feel free to indulge my lack of knowledge at this point...hehehe Last edited by dank.frank; 05-03-2008 at 11:14 PM.. |

the internodal distance is a big factor, because the cheese grows bushy and it needs a bit of a larger internode to shoot branches properly.
Look for general vigor and resin buidup during flowering, and yield is always a factor.... Some plants show a darker grey-purple pigment (not temperature-induced), often a sign of a more complex terpene profile. |
