Cheese showing pistil under 24hr light???

Franco (and others),

Just a real quick question. I got a pack of Cheese fems a while back and was bored and decided to pop just one lowly bean. She has been kept under 24hr light since breaking the surface of the soil. (well over a month ago now) I really just wanted to grow her out to take cuttings from, so I am planning to lst the plant. I also didn't want her getting really tall, but still wanted adequate air flow under the plant, so I decided to attempt a FIM' seeing how I have read that this variety responds well to being cut/cropped. I also figured that would give me additional branches at the top of the bush that I could LST and perhaps cut some lower branches to make a couple of clones.

After I FIM'med the plant slowed down for about three days that then doubled in size over the next 5. Then it happened.

I checked my room one day and noticed that where I had FIM'med I had a single female pistil showing and growing literally out of the main stem. I have been watching this for 3 days now, and the plant has now grown a small, single gimpy leaf at this point, and the pistil is actually coming out of the small leaf....quite interesting. I tried to show this on camera, but I can't get it to stand out enough to be visible....could be the camera, could be me. Either way it can't be seen in the pics.

ANY similar stories....or did FIM'ming just really stress the plant? Should I throw her into flower or keep her in veg or does it matter? What caused this or is it normal in fem beans? (first set of fems I have used)

The Fim'med Top

The small leaf with a pistil (can't see it in the pic, but it IS there...haha)

My grapefruit and white widow fems did that. They were a little more mature than the one in your picture though. If all you see is a hair or two I think you are ok. I don't think it is autoflowering at all. Just lifting up her skirt.......

cool...good deal. I kinda figured that might be the case, however, I wasn't sure. I personally have not had a plant show a pistil under 24hr light before, so figured I'd just make sure...hehehe.

Thanks all.

Hey GHS. I wonder if that's the same Cheese that Big Buddha is selling? I damn sure hope so, man. I bought a 5 pack of femmed Cheese from Buddha and all five popped. I'm jealous you got the Cheese and I don't bro.

does anyone know what the pheno-type variations are in the GHS/BB fem cheese? Or rather what are the plant attributes that I am looking for in the plant that is a keeper. (keeper = fits breeder description ideally)

tokinjoe - And I am not sure about all the beans, but I know for sure that the fem beans for GHS and BB are one in the same...just watch the youtube videos about GHS.
