How's it going? I am very interested in this test grow. Himalaya Gold is getting very popular due to the resistance to cold nights and to the good yields.

Thanks for dropping by guys. It's day 16 and the HG's are looking pretty good. I took these pictures today of a few of them. They are stretching a bit as they are in a windowsill but they are coming right along. I am moving them to my greenhouse tomorrow and growth should pick up pretty quickly. I'm also transplanting them into quart pots where they will remain until they go to the grow location. Sorry for the blurry pic. I'm no pro by a long shot:

Fullybaked, you CAN have a greenhouse bro. I built mine at my safehouse using materials my friend already had. It's is not by any means anything to brag about. A simple frame 4' x 2 1/2 and 2 feet high. I surrounded it by chicken wire to keep cats etc out of it and stretched chickenwire over the top of it and covered the roof in plastic to keep the rains from beating the hell out of the plants. Very simple and effective. Plants get sun most of the day and are protected from heavy rains and hail. Works for me perfectly. Once I get all of my plants in there I'll take a picture of that as well and post it here.

Supersonic, thanks bro. I ordered HG partly because of the recommendation you gave as well as SB. I heard a lot of good things about them. Enough to order 20 of them anyhow.
Franco, it's always a pleasure to see you drop by on my thread my friend. Now that I have my usb cord for my camera I'll update this thread a lot more often with pics. As originally stated, I'll continue straight through harvest. Anything I experience I have positive or negative I will post here as well as pictures of my methods and results as I go. I must admit I'm really looking forward to watching your ladies grow to maturity. Got a lot of work ahead but once I get them to their final destination things will settle a bit and I'll chronicle mainly nutes and growth. Thanks again for dropping by bro. Shevek, how are your ladies doing? |
