Howdy Peeps! I just germed a 10 pack last night (I got a bonus seed to, 11 in a 10 pack) I'll do weekly updates, germ rates, smoke reports etc. This will be my first indoor soil grow, I've been a strictly hydro man indoors, with 30 years of outdoor grows under my belt. So lets see how the other half lives. I'll also see how soil verses hydro is for taste, smell, bag appeal, etc., this soil grow verses my previous hydro grows! Thanks for stoping by!!!Stay green and safe! Don PS Variety is the spice of life so I also germed 5 freebie Mosca Negro HP x C99 I'm hopeing for 10 females if I don't get 10 I'll be adding some eggplant plants, their hard to grow outside here. We get these teeny tiny black "fleas" here that will eat the green right off the leaves and the end result is a very woody plant and small results. My Lady makes the best Sicilian Eggplant so its all good! Last edited by Don Cotyle; 04-12-2008 at 06:42 AM.. |

Here's MODs decription for Burmese Dream:
Description: Breeder: MOD (Mist of Destruction) My flagship indica is a true F1 hybrid of Dreamweaver and Burmese Pure. Dreamweaver is a stocky, pure indica plant with almost no stretch and fast flowering characteristics. Yield is the word for the day with this one and quality is top notch. Burmese Dream has a high THC content and a pungent, lemon-berry flavor. My best indica mother mixes it up with a known and proven IBL; this is shaping up to be a wonderful, highly vigourous indica-dominant hybrid. 25% - 75% sativa - indica, 8-9 weeks flowering, medium to high EC. Flower Time: 8-9 weeks Seeds 10 Environment: Indoor I found these seeds at Seedbay in the weekend specials section...Happy Hunting! |

Welcome abirdintheair! Thanks for the headsup on the burmese, I belive I grew out some of his bubbleberry back in the day MMmmmm!
I finaly gathered everything I need for my organic soil mix. I'm useing: Black and Gold Fox Farms Ocean Forest Perlite 1/3 Blood meal 12oz Bone meal 12oz Kelp meal 12oz Earthworm castings 4 cups Green sand 3 cups Rock Phosphate 12oz Dolimite Lime 12oz Blackstrap Molassas 1-2 tablespoon per gallon water I should have a good tea recipe to enhance bloom by the time their ready! I'm learning alot, just hope the flavor and smell is an improvement over hydro. I'll also be trying out some training techniques for yeild, pruneing,LSTing and tieing! Should be interesting and hopefuly learning alot more!!! WEEEEEdogies! Don

Great news, 100% germination rates all the way around, transplanted into peat-pellets this morning! Yea I know lots of folks don't like em to acidic etc. I use em on all my grows they go right into net pots when I'm doing hydro and have always worked when starting all types of plants for my vegitable garden, so I stick to what works well for me! Their under a 400w HPS, I use it from start to finish.

Thanks for droping by Murphy, and the good luck in the dirt!!! I'll try to get a pic of the baby up...my son went on a 2-3 week trip and "borrowed my good camera and card reader" I guess the one I recently retired and gave him wasn't good enough for his trip photos...lol. I'll try to hunt the old one up and get some pic up!
I went fishing today and mushroom hunting and want to get those pic up too! Sure hope I find it!!! Don |

I hate it when postal workers grow and are to cheap to buy their own seed stock! ![]() I just hope I can find a way to get a/c back to em or this might turn into an outdoor grow ;P
