Drying Sensi Style

I was able to speak with some of the growers for Sensi Seeds in Amsterdam. And well they were able to tell me a little bit about there drying process. I asked them becuz they would come out with full branches with buds and the Sun leaves on them still and all. The did have the driest buds i must say totally perfect for the De Verdamper. Ok the real reason for the post is to wonder how they were able to cure the weed hanging with sun leaves on still. Well if any you guys got any ideas let me know just curious cuz the Jack Flash was amazing. Thanks for all your dudes help ;-) Jubei

You can dry and cure plants without removing any leaves what so ever and it will still eventually dry and cure. it takes much longer to dry thus slowing down the process and giving aid to the curing process.

I dry whole plants every once in awhile without removing anything and it just prolongs the overall process.

I agree with tex, as soon as I chop her down Im shavin the green, sometimes Ill be so damn greedy Ill even try the microwave : ), so extra leaves IMO, are unnecessary

ok maybe i worded the question wrong. How is it that Sensi is able to cure so well yet not trim any of the leaves off it. When i have left the sun leaves on in the past it seemed to take away the smell. Anyways was just curious im sure they keep in at a certain humidity to keep it drying out. What i didn't like about it was that when you break and trim it out frikn crytals went flying everywhere. I trim all the sun leaves off and small leaves then hang. Thanks for the replys though Jubei

hey Jubei if you leave the leaves on it slows down the drying process making for better tasting bud, no grassy clorophyl taste Try it im drying this way now it also protects the "bling factor" trichomes dont get broken and your bud is all nice and sparkily . you will see & Taste a diffrence also dont let a fan directly blow on your buds be patient you've waited 3+ months to harvest you can wait 3 weels till it drys it also makes for a shorter jar cure

Longer decarboxilation rates occur which adds flavor but as mentioned the trikes can and will break off. I prefer to trim in stages, first taking off all fan and non crystally leaves, then seperate the sparkly ones for the bubble bags. The buds then dry with slight fans indirectly and a dehumidifier to keep a constant rate 0f 55%. A fine manicure could be done after a couple days while they are still pliable.

Ok well i cut off all the fan leaves and chuck them out. Then i save all the trim that is worth keeping for ico-lator as Badmf says. I find that leaving the fan leaves on makes the bud cure with a green taste. Then i wait tell snap and toss into a bag for a week or so. I had fukd up some shit with a dehu before but had it on full blast. My humidity in the drying room is around 50% now so no need to mess but i will monitor it. Was just curious if anyothers dried Sensi's way and liked it. I really liked there cure but i can't let a plant hang for months. I gots to smoke that shite. Jubei

Just curious...

Jubei, I know you're in Adam now so I'm posting this for your return. Did you find a break between bowls, blunt, bong, and spliffs to get over to Sensi Seeds and find out more on this topic?
