Talking HTC: Domestic Beans?

Hate to sound illiterate. Is HTC U.S. based? I've always been concerned about ordering seeds from abroad. But if it's U.S. to U.S. I'd be thrilled to get some of the HTC strains that have been talked about.

Once again: apologize for sounding like a noob.

You can get HTC gear in the US, but you have to either live in California, and have a med card, or have a good friend who does. Only other choice is through SeedBoutique or Seedbay. For some reason, there seems to be a problem with the last shipment being slow getting there.

Thanks for the response. Don't have a med card, don't live in California. Not worried about slow shipments either. Just wondering if HTC gear is FROM the US. If it is in fact from the US, then I have no problems ordering it on SeedBoutique or Seedbay. I just wouldn't bother ordering beans from another country to the US. Hope that's not making things more confusing...

Let me rehash;

If my package from SeedBoutique or Seedbay would be ORIGINATING from the US, I would feel comfortable buying.

On that note: Any purple HTC varieties?

It's not being shipped from the US, it will be shipped from the UK. Good luck finding a US based seed company that will ship you seeds

Now that WOULD be a GREAT IDEA! I wonder why that is? Some of the best nugs are grown in the U.S...., therefore some of the best seeds can come from the U.S....it's certainly a commodity that people want (otherwise seed banks wouldn't be so busy). It's inherently less risky than sending things to/from an international location, it's invariably cheaper to send stuff domestically....if there were a burgeoning market here in the U.S. with competitive strains then people from outside the U.S. would be seeking those genetics....and sending stuff from the U.S. to another country (where it's more than likely legal) is a breeze.

Lots of good points that are hard to refute. So how come there's nobody to meet those demands?

I meet both requirements, so what club should I be making the trip to? Its my last week working in the Bay area.

Shoot Steel Savage a PM. He's taking care of where they are going. So far, all I know who has them is Harborside in Oakland.

edit: Ahh....sorry. I see you don't have enough posts to send PM's, Try going into his forum and asking. He's pretty good with the quick responses. https://www.icmag.com/ic/forumdisplay.php?f=65591

Not at all confusing. You want something domestic. Understandable.

The HTC Haze I'm working on right now, has a good percentage of purps. Beans will not be ready for another few months tho. Perhaps mid summer.

Brother Monk is right , we have beans at Harborside , though I'm not sure of stock levels . We dropped HTC Skunk , bout a week ago and will have some new varieties from HTC's Esbe , and an old favorite of Bub's that'll be crash landing there soon as well ....
They are available under "The GrindHouse" catalog . No doubt very high quality , American gear .

Be well ,
Steele

Not to create a hullabaloo here, but from what I now understand: HTC is indeed U.S. based. You guys have killer beans in CA....and if you're lucky enough to know somone, or have a med card in that region: you're golden.

You've therefore suggested seedbay/boutique to get the beans I'm looking for.

My only confusion related to this matter is the quote above, where La resistance indicates that it will be shipped from the U.K.

Can we get some clarity on that particular statement. I just want to know that my package is not going to go through customs.

And I am looking forward to see those purples. Are those upcoming strains somehow related to Grape Ape or any of the other famous west coast strains...or is this something entirely new you have cooked up?

Thanks for dealing with my incessant requests for information and your patience. I know it sucks dealing with "noobs".
