LETS GET IT STARTED IN HERE...

Well I've finally taken the plunge and started my first grow. I've currently got them in a veg bubbler bucket setup. I've got 6 plants in the bubbler and 2 plants awaiting their new soil homes... ( don't have room in bubbler for two more...)

2 Sour Bubbles
2 Grape Punch
2 Mazar
2 Blue Moon Rocks

1 Sour Bubble going into soil
1 Mazar going into soil
Rest in hydro

I've got 2 two 40W fluoros for my initial veg setup... awaiting my 175W MH.

These are clones that I received from a fellow ICMag member. Much love and prosperity in life and with your grow man. You know who ya are!!!

Two of the clones had some yellowing in the leaves. Still trying to learn the different nute defs etc. so if anyone can give me a tip or two I definately need it. What are the best type of nutes to start my girls out with?

I can't believe it... my first grow... WOOOOHOOOOO

you must really like a challenge!!! Not only your first grow....but with multiple strains in one tub!! Best way to learn is to just get into it and learn by trial and error. GH 3 Part is a good nute. They have an all-in-one from GH called Flora Nova. Very potent and thick stuff. Just go easy at first with what ever you choose. I would start them at 600-700 PPM and work up slowly from there. Every three days if you do not see nute burn raise it a little at a time. Also watch your pH. Keep between 5.3-6.0. It will drift daily both PPM and pH. If plants are hungry and taking up nutes...the PPM will lower. If not...PPM will rise. Let me know if I can help

Thanks HOG. I do like a challenge. When they arrived they were a little wilted and looking lifeless. I placed them in their new home and some light. Now they're all standing tall and reaching for the light. I'm so excited. I'm gonna get some FloraNova Grow to add to them this weekend. My ph isn't a problem at the present moment, but I'm watchin it. I'll definately be asking my mentors for their help and assistance.

It’s good to see you’ve started a hydro grow thread, I wouldn’t think you would have that much of a problem but if you do, there’s some of the finest growers on this site that you could ever find as you already know, just feel free to ask and they’ll be more folks all over your Q than you can imagine, good luck on your grow I’m in for the ride.

1st Update:
Nothing much to report really. I have had the girls in their new homes since Thursday evening. They are really likin their new digs... I checked them today and they already have their roots trying to get through the net pots. I was excited about that. That's pretty much the highlight so far. They're stretchin for the light and thats a good look. I'll keep ya posted if anything interesting happens. I wish I had a digicam to take some pics. :smile:
