howdy,

I was woundering if you have any problems with the 5 fem packs of white rhinos. I have been growing them for 10 weeks know,the last two weeks of 12/12 and out the 5 2 are males. I cant see it being my grom room, I have other fem strains that are all female going as well with no problem.I am hoping the rhinos are not going to herm out. I am a legal grower here in canada and only allowed 25 plants, do think that I should maybe trash them and start over as I cannot afford a room full of pollen.any thoughts would be great

Hi biotek!
it is one of the first complaints about White Rhino.
I understand your situation is compromised, so I can suggest you get rid of the 2 plants before they make a damage.
If they turned hermie there must have been a stress factor involved. And even then, they should not turn.
It is our policy to replace seeds when there is a problem, but this has to happen trhough the shop where you got the seeds.
Please PM me with more details and info on the source of the seeds and we will take the matter further.

in regards to my post to Franco about the femenised white rhinos, as it turns out a few other of my strains have turned hermie not male as I had thought. While my family and I were away on the easter weeekend (had been gone for 4 days) we had three power outages had caused by plants to stress. I only found this out after I came home from two other fellow growers to find that their plants did the same thing.I will be going down to Power company to get hooked up to their emergence back up service so that this shit never happens again. I got in touch with a few others in the town we live in and turns out that I am lucky to have friends that I had help in the past were there to get back my room back on track(killed them all).anyhow sorry for the misinformation.

If you have trouble arranging backup from the company you could set up a 12 volt backup system (12 volt battery, 12 volt fluorescents, inverter to recharge the battery from the power grid). It is a very basic setup but it can be very effective to keep your light-schedule when the power is out.
