BUBBLER BUCKET FOR FLOWERING
  Hello all.... I'm embarking on my first hydro grow. I have my veg setup on the way any minute now. Unfortunately I dilusional in thinking I would be able to flower in the setup as well. I'm going to build a seperate setup for my flower setup. The following is the dimensions of the bucket I plan to use: 16.68" x 42.25" x 21.0" Do you think it would be large enough to place three plants into for the final flowering phase? That would give approx. 14" in space for each plant. Any help is greatly appreciated...

Ms.Herb, space isn't really the problem. It's water capacity for your roots. It's quite different then soil. You need a MINIMUM of 3 gallons for a well pruned 3 foot flowering plant. I won't go less then 4 gallons (I use 4 gallon buckets, 1 per plant) and most say 5 gallons for a 3 foot plant.
But again, it depends on the size, if your autoflowering clones, a 10 gallon rubbermain tub will work for 6-7 short plants. |

I use a four gallon bucket for each plant or I use an 18 gallon sterilite bucket for 8 plants. Good luck

Im Using the 14 Gallon Rubbermaids 2 Plants.
Now they only hold 7 Gallons of water/Nutes. The Net pots hang about 1/2 down. Flowering will use up water faster than Vegging. I like this set up.... But, It's going to take a LOT of Work to Empty it and chnge Nutes Etc.. It needs refinement. But that's ok... Learn as I go, and I got some other Ideas to try the Next Run. Im Prepared to have to do a little more work with this set up. Perhaps Next run Use 50 Gallon RubberMaids!!!!! Bigger the Better Sin
