Question Starting LR in cups?

Anyone start any AF strain in cups then transplant at sexing?

I haven't gone this route yet, but my LR's are usually 18-24" tall and produce well for me. I'm just wondering if I started them in smaller pots to save space and then transplanted if I'd get the same results.

That is how I usually do it 16oz red plastic beer cups and when sex is determined its either tossed or up potted.

Hey SAH,

Do you typically find that the plants will grow to their full potential when you do it this way or are they smaller than if they were allowed to grow out in a full size pot?

I would say if you can put them right in a 2-3 gallon pot its better do it. But if not I think they are going to turn out just fine and the sure fire way to find out is to do a run with what you have run before to compare. I do this with every strain I have ever grown out.
