Trainwreck and Cheesewreck
Hola los Cultivadors de Sagarmatha !
I stopped off at Spannabis and had a chat with the guys from Sagarmatha and spotted 2 new varieties of theirs I have not seen or heard of before.... and none of you seem to be talking about....Trainwreck and Cheesewreck, both Feminised.... Anybody else got them ? I have started just a couple of each, will keep 1x myself and another for my friend and have some girlfriends for them to grow alongside, including the Exodus Cheese clone and my own accidental Cheese2 [my own bagseed, possibly Cheese x Cheese, or maybe Cheese x Kali Mist] I am really interested to know the background to these varieties and what others find and think of them. Sadly they did not get here in time for a Spring crop, so I am looking at a natural Octoberish harvest outdoors. The stories I hear of Trainwreck are very interesting, but nobody has [AFAIK] asked/answered if the Trainwreck clone has any relation to the "Creeper" varieties that SSSC used to sell ?? ... and if it is not, whatever happened to those Creeper varieties, nobody seems to offer them now ? |

SEE...I HATE THIS ATTITUDE!!!! Everyone knows that a clone of a clone of a clone....etc. can result in a less vigorous, less stable, less potent plant. 10 years down the road, perhaps your precious Trainwreck will be schwag b/c no one ever took the time to cross and backcross and make the seeds. No one moans and cries about Big Buddah Cheese...but they moan abut GHS cheese, and the fem seeds are one in the same. What makes you think that they couldn't have gone to CA and picked up a shit load of clones to take back and start breeding to make seeds. Is it exactly the same, nope. But so what....the only reason anyone gets pissed is because now what they have in their shed just isn't so damn special. If joe blow made a cross with TW and passed them around everyone would ohhh and awwww.... In the end you are still going to inflate your own shed and say your TW is better, just because it is yours. And good for you. But don't bitch because some one took the time to make some beans to give to the world....after all, what did YOU do to help a genetic reach the masses? dank.Frank Last edited by dank.frank; 03-10-2010 at 07:46 AM.. |

I have just spotted in another threadhttps://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=78322 here that "Royal Dutch Genetics" are also selling a Trainwreck and a Cheesewreck.
As I mentioned there I also have Cheese to go alongside these, but it would be interesting to get the original TW clone to compare with the recreation...... I will stick some pix up once they are worth photographing.... |

dank frank ,,,
i read tour post , and you are so right on the spot with the traiwreck .. once the original cutting of a plant has been lost , you can always use a seed from the same stock and call it the same but it is not gonna be the same plant you had before ,, D'OH !!!! .. but after years of F1 seeds and original TW , and TW hybrids all over the world ,,the ''original'' besides the real one ... its just a name many people use... im glad arjan breeded those TW seeds and as you ssaid gave them to the world becouse lets face it... everybody thinks they have the ''original'' TW ... but i think thats a lot of BS...you may have a derivate of TW but the ''original'' i dont think so....sure sound nice thoug... i have heard the original TW to have a real powerfull high , therefore many of its derivates or vertions will be powerfull too... dont hate on arjan becouse he finally released a TW , i mean ,, i dont know about you but if it was not thanks to him , since everybody have the original and nobody seems to share it !!!! so great going GHS on the TW and the cheese ,, i will post some TW pics when time is right and im sure it will look really gooood original to me peace
