My CFL LS and POK x White Giant Grow
I recently received an order and had some problems with the seeds but managed to get these two plants. A Lifesaver and a POK x White Giant were started from seed and have vegged for 3 weeks under 55w CFL, I just put them under a 95w Red Envirolite. There in 70% coco 30% perlite, and fed with canna nutes. Hopefully they both be females. The LS is on the left and POK on the right. Pic 2 is the LS and Pic 3 the POK. They both have been topped once. If anyone has info on POK x WG, let me know. I havn't been able to find much info on the strain.

I've got some POK WG germing right now. I heard that they were a pain to germinate and could take up to five days. I saw a post where someone used some sandpaper in a match box and sanded the beans down a little bit then germed them. I decided to try it to see. I put them in shotglass of water to soak last night and as of this morning both had sunk. I placed them in a paper towel until they crack their roots. Lookin forward to updates with this as I hope to have some good results with the grow as well. If I get my clones before these babies pop, they'll be grown in organic. Otherwise I plan on putting them in my new hydro system!... I'll definately stay tuned!

Greensheet are you using just the 95W Envirolite for the flower or do you have other CFL's in there too? The grow is looking good so far. I still haven't found too much information on the POK x WG... Looking forward to your next update!!!

After 10 days of 12/12, The POK is female and the LS is not showing any signs yet. I havn't much info on the strain since they were freebies. The POK plant shows signs of being sativa due to its narrow, light green leaves and vertical growth. I thought for sure the POK was going to be male, but I am not complaining. I will post some pics over the weeend.

Thanks everyone,
They were vegged with 2 cool white, 4100k 23w cfls JM. Hang them about 2" from the plant tops and watch them grow. The one drawback about cfls is that they need to be adjusted often. If you can overcome this, cfls will yield awesome results. |
