BM- since i'm basically growing this round for seed and a couple tester buds off each plant i'm thinking about going 12/12 at around 12 inches. depends though, i'm kinda undecided exactly what my plans are right now. i might finish under flouros, i might get setup for a 400w or 600w, i might take a clone off each female before the flip to keep my favorite mom, then use her seeds that i get for further use down the road....there's alot of options when starting from seed.

i'm going to menards today so i think i'll be grabbing so sort of tile or plastic for the floor and rip out the carpet, and get some flat white paint or mylar, i might grab that stanley blower also since they are only $39....looks like a nice little blower for a closet or smaller style room. check it out man https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=29341 props to dopest and the others, and whoever started it at OG, it can save you some money and is real nice quality.

pothead- yeah i figured it would blow up like nitro, alot of people were wondering and asking about this strain....i remember when i first arrived here at icmag me and you were having conversations about the "roadkill" skunk.....lets hope we found it, atleast the chance for the stinky stanky skunk smellin pheno, thats why i wanted more peeps to join my thread and show there grows, maybe i won't get lucky and have a super stinker but someone else might so then we'll know it's possible, thats also the main reason i'm making a bunch of seed. because then i'll have way more seed to find my keeper!!

That blower would be a waste of money,not meant to run 24/7/365. Look for a heating/ac business you could get a used furnace blower for free from them.When I first started I bought 4 blowers made to vent a house 1800cfm each for $30. JK

read the thread, people have been running it for 24/7 for a year. i don't need a house blower for my little closet. nice advice for the house blowers though for people going big.

Hey T2U! great thread you got going here! I was hoping to start this thread with you but there was a MJ induced hickup in shipping

and the Hill Temple Skunk IBLs forgot to jump in the package. But I've been assured a couple packs will be on the way shortly, or are alreayd on their way.

I had/have room for a full pack saved in my grow, but now I'm trying to clear room for at least 1.5 packs, or maybe the full 2 packs.

As soon as they arrive I'll be germing, and reporting my findings here.

Honestly, this is the most anticipated strain I've ever had the pleasure to recieve, well, besides the Cheese at least. I have been looking for a true skunk ever since I started growing.

I purchased about 6 comercialy avaliable Skunks, and not a single one even came close to having that true Skunk smell and flavor. Some of those skunks I tried where:

Skunk #1 (Sam's)
Super Skunk (Nirvana)
Skunk Special (Nirvana)
Sensi Skunk (Sensi)
White Skunk (Sensi White label)
Original Mauii Wowie Skunk (High Quality Seeds)

I did not find a single mother from any of those, and only 1 or 2 phenos had the slightest hint of skunk.

I have also tried numerous Skunk cuttings such as Island Sweet SKunk, and Steve's Sweet Skunk cut, and neither of those had any real skunk to it.

So needless to say, I have been quite disapointed in this search.

When I 1st heard about the HT Skunk I was skeptical, but OG Bub doesn't BS, if he says it's skunky I'd bet the bank that it is.

So good luck T2U and Bother Monk (good to see you btw), I wish you great success, and hope that the HT Skunk IBL is everything and more for you 2.

I'll be outa this chair in a quick-fast when the beans arrive, it's like x-mas over hear.. the anticipation is killin' me.

awesome BM, looks like you had a little better luck then me, 8/10 and 10/10 so far so looks like the germ rates are really nice! hopefully all 10 will remain survivors!

thats cool that your not going to be pollinating, that way we can see what she does without being seeded, trust me thats what i want to do also but i want to make sure i got a bunch of beans from this strain for later. plus i want to cross it with my kodiak so i might as well just do it all at once.

i think i'm going to be running more HTC gear in the future indoor/outdoor and doing some nice threads on them, and any crosses i make for personal use.

my little guys/gals are just starting to grow their second set of leaves, i can already tell they are more sativa then the other strains i have right by it, skinnier leaves but there's one that caught my eye thats growing a little bit thicker and more fat then the others....maybe leanin more indica i'm hopin, it's hard to tell at this stage though....i'll be taking pics at the end of the week!!

Power to the Skunk..... I got a good feeling bout these beans. Hope you guy's find the Mom you have been looking for. The smellier the better.

T2U... I purchased 5 packs of HTC Skunk to search for the ELITE specimens throughout the line.

I promised Bub i would create a thread and it looks like you have beat me to it my friend. I hope you dont mind me posting and or updating in your thread. If so, let me know and i will start a new one. Just to let everyone know, i got 45 of the 50 to crack open in the wet wash cloth method. I had an unfortunate circumstance and one morning i awoke to find 7 of the 45 seedlings totally eaten, leaving me with 38 survivors. So far, no more problems and i have been vegging them for 10 days now. I hope to be as thorough as possible througout this enitre grow giving updates every 7 days if not more.

I hope you guys enjoy and also find the funk nasty SKUNK we are all looking for. Peace, Tric
