they look good. thrips are relatively easy... get em early... don't have many plants to take care of? can just spray em well with a bug spray or sm-90, something, tops and undersides of leaves, and then put diatomaceous earth on top fo the soil (regular sand if you can't find diatom.earth) that will kill larvae being hatched as they emerge. if you get sm-90, treat the soil with that also (wouldn't really need datom.earth or sand then). if all else fails just set off a bug bomb and take care of the soil.

congrats on the babys....pests are real pests
...i feel for you ...i had spider mite for a couple of years .... finnaly knocked them of in the end...good feeling ...hope they dont cause to much damage to them before you can get rid of them...never had thrips in the garden myself....but the strain brought me here to your thread .good luck.HH. =]-~
