Rotating Gravity feed ???

Has anyone tested this method? Im curious about the G.I. Grow in particular. Bonzi wheel is another Ive seen. Omega may be yet a thrid. Ive been reading into the G.I. Grow Wheel and it seems to make sense to use less wattage and less space plus the added gravity the plants have to fight would make them strong stocky little bastards. Theres a dude on ebay selling these with free shipping for 2500.00 seems like a large investment but free shipping looks nice for the amount of stuff that would go into making and assembling the wheel... So Im looking for some feedback about these devices, contraptions..

If you are a serious grower forget the gimmicks. The only thing you get with an Omega(other than a lighter wallet, lol) is a svings of space! For far less you can grow vertical with a collesium type set up or standard flat with movers. Add up all the equipment with the Omega and it will take a while to break even, with standard systems you are in the black right away! And with the extra cash could go to the Cup!

Not so, check out Kings thread with the link to his OG grow of HDF, looks like a good way to go if u havent much space, can afford the outlay and want to get a lot of weed.

Hey bro, add up the cost of "all" the eqiupment and you'll see I'm right. It doesn't make sense to spend so much for such a small gain and there is no guarantee you will be sucessful at using it. Let em put up their set-up next to my aeros and factor the extra cost they spendt and you'll see. A vertical grow is going to acomplish the same thing without the expense if space savings is your goal. Of course if you want fancy, I'll sell you an upside down Phototron! lol

okay so im not on the kick of aeroponics...with a good ultrasonic fogger not the cheap ones..it seems to have the fastest growth with no pumps, electric use, less nutes and Im pretty sure I can build one myself pretty cheap... the key is finding the right ultrasonic fogger. Not to many web resources for this except the link through
https://www.greenair.com/fogger-2004.htm or https://www.ezfog.com/works.html That is about all .. there was some spring air thing but they use one of the cheap ass foggers that will not get the microns down to under 10 .... any thoughts of doing this.. any ideas?

hookahgabriel: I don't reccommend either the Shira or EZ-fogger, they are both 10 times overpriced. There is nothing magical about their peizoelectric disks, fog particle size is mostly determined by the distance it travels. Shiras claim of under 5 microns (mainly 2-3 microns) is after six feet of ducting!!! Just buy either an ultrasonic humidifier, pond foggers, or make your own. For making your own goto https://www.mytransducers.com.

Im still testing and researching the use of fog, however I can already tell you that fog works great for rooting clones. Lothar is also doing a Fog VS Bubbler experiment right now to see which is better.

As for rotating gardens and fog, its been done already, its called the Orbio and costs $10,000 CDN and uses the Shira. Obviously thats overpriced, so the only alternative is to make your own system. The Orbio supposidly yeilds 8lbs from two 600Watt bulbs.

Check out the links in my signature!
