Hi guys,
Sorry I am a little behind most of you, just got my Geisha in today, soaking them in prep for the paper towels :-)

~We measure things by what we are. To the maggots in the cheese, the cheese is the universe. To the worms in the corpse, the corpse is the cosmos. How then can we be so sure of our own existence? Just because of our telescopes, microscopes, and the splitting of the atom? certainly not. Science is but an organized system of ignorance. There are more things in Heaven and Earth then are written about by philosophers. What do we know about the beyond? Do we know whats behind the beyond? I’m afraid some of us hardly know whats beyond the behind!"

Thumbs up

The seeds were soaked for 24 hours in a shot glass, then put into damp paper towel in a glad plastic container with lid and left in a warm spot, less than 24 hours later all 10 of the seeds have popped

I will be transplanting them into some seed starter mix, first time I have tried this product, very light and airy should work well for this stage

They have now been transplanted into the Starter soil in Solo cups and are under a 6 bulb (54watts a bulb) T-5 flourecent lights, slightly over 300 watts of light on them, will post more pics when they break the soil :-)

All the Geisha except one have now busted thru the soil :-)

Probably be a few days till I transplant to bigger containers, will post more pics before the transplant.

I will be using my own home made soil LOL (blending others together)
It will include
CocoGro

Chunky Perlite

Fafard's Container Mix

Fox Farm Planting Mix

and Happy Frog Potting Soil (used in flower last time, really like this stuff and so do the plants :-)

Hope ya'll are enjoying the ride :-)

Hi all
Lost one of the Geisha, the one that did not break soil worried me so I carefully pulled it out of the soil today, there was only a seed shell cracked in half and the tail was gone or rotted away, no worries I still have 9 happy healthy ones that have come above the soil, will post up another pic when I transplant them into their bigger containers in a few days.

So far no real stretch to them, got them close to the T-5's. I am sure they will stretch later, but not yet :-)
Thanks on the mix, I am pretty sure it will give them everything that they need :-)
