hello, i have also posted this in "new members"

I am a grower/user for medicinal purposes. I have a major back injury, have had 3 operations, heavy painkillers(morphine among others) and a life of sufferance I decided to give cannabis a try as it was that or jump off a cliff. To my surprise it has made a huge difference. I can function relatively well now and no one knows that I grow or use as I keep it under wraps. I grow enough to keep my pain levels at an acceptable point.

I grow indoor and outdoor...

Indoor:
white russian, (was growing euphoria),veg 250wt m.h. flower 3 x 600w, cool tubes, carbon filter, coco/neem/perlite, just changed to AN nutes after using Canna to see any difference, opinions on these chemicals welcome!

Outdoor:
white russian, chronic, sacra frasca, twilight, arjans ultra haze no1.
Using organics, soil, bat guano, fish emulsion, potash, lime, blackstrap mollasses. outdoors probably have approx 4-6 weeks left as I am south of the equator so it is an exciting time for me at the moment.

Euphoria was my fave strain as it is a good alrounder but silly me did not strike any mothers as I dont want to use any more electricity and I went away overnight and clones dried out.

Chronic and twilight are a good pain reliever for me and white russian is a good relaxant. I am yet to try the others.
It will be good to chat with other female growers.

I also am a med user for pain. I noticed that indicas work best for me. I have tried everything from, strawberry diesel, sour diesel, LUI and many more. Cherry Ak works really good but puts me to sleep.

Welcome ladyluck....glad to have you here, sorry I didnt see your thread earlier...happy to see you found relief with mj, it does such amazing things!

Welcome! Cannabis is a miracle, Isn't it? I can't grow outdoors where I live, but I have a very well lit closet! lol Well, I'm on an educational crusade- and I'd like you to help. Most doctors know only the government-approved line on cannabis (pot=bad). We need to change that perception!

What I want you to do is click the link in my sig and pick out a few studies that catch your eye. You'll have plenty to choose from! Print them up and send them to your doctor (anonymously, if need be)!

The American College of Physicians came out in favor of MMJ- Now we have to convince the AMA- one doctor at a time! A few to your favorite politician wouldn't hurt, either- with a subtle reminder that somewhere between 65 and 95% of the American public support medical cannabis! (Either number is a clear majority!)

Welcome again and be sure to check out the stickies at the top of any forum that interests you. And watch out for the boys around here- a girlfriend who grows is in GREAT demand! lol!- Granny

Interesting post. So glad to hear you have found relief for your pain!
You know, I am 44 years old, only smoked MJ sporadically through my youth(and always felt "naughty" "guilty" about it).
Now, I say "@uck-it"! It helps(and usually gets rid of) my debilitating migraines(when the only other option is Immitrex which can kill you if taken with SSRI's--which I take).
What is the matter with this(US) country when we have people hurting/suffering and trying to help themselves,only to be labeled criminal by the goverment because they aren't in on the money making?? Our goverment doesn't give a damn about us.

What happened to our freedom to choose? Oh good grief! I'm on my 'soap box' just thinking about it, and all I wanted to do was say "Welcome, nice to meet you". ha!
