monitor your relative humidity and try to keep it around 40 to 50%
if you hit 65% you enter the Danger Zone Inspect plants daily, using rubber gloves (that's why they call them inspection-gloves?!?). Cut at first signs of mould, a few cm under it. |

Thanks Franco. I never did quite understand the rubber glove thing though. Aside from keeping your fingers clean.
After closer inspection, they're just some really greasy girls! I'll be sure to keep a close watch on the humidity. |

Hey CWBY, I must admit feeling the "oh shit' factor as I began reading this thread just now. It's the first time I've seen it and I must say you really brought those plants back my friend! Gotta give you props on this grow.
I'm looking forward to seeing some dried bud shots and a smoke report. Good going man. Peace.

Hey thanks Tokin'. They were definitely not doing too well in the beginning but have turned around quite well.
They've probably got another 4 weeks or so. Going by GH's recommendations, About 2-3 weeks. But they really seem to be packin' it on now and starting to show some rusty pistils. Not many, but a few. Gonna let these babies go a while. he he he... Didn't get any of this while I was in AMS during the cup. Just too much variety to try out over there! Looking forward to burnin' it up next month though. Going to get the other 5 beans that I have left over started within the next few days. Just dropped 10 lowryders that are about 1/2 way done into large tubs the other day. Not sure what kind of space I'll have to work with, but we'll see how it goes. Going to try and reveg both of these and hopefully get a little cab set up to keep a mommy from each of them. I have an old fridge that I had used as a grow box in the past, but space in there is really kinda tight too. I'll have to figure something out. Gotta get a perpetual garden going here. These LR are nice and they do the trick, but I'd rather have some more potency and weight if I'm going to go perp. Any recommendations for working out the logistics for that are greatly appreciated. Got very limited space and both lights are being used in here right now. I've got a 70w hps that could keep a mommy or two alive though I think. Thanks for droppin' in. You really think 4 weeks bro? I don't grow much indoors, mainly OD but they don't look like they've got 4 weeks left in them. Either way it's gonna be nice to see how they turn out.

Hey spaced, I did DVP's Rhino test grow, it's interesting to compare them. I did run into mold on 1 of them at 7 weeks, and ran into a few hermies too, but not all the girls ran into probs. I had 1 that was a really nice plant. The final taste I remember was tomato soup with a little curry powder added. The high was a busy high, did lots of little jobs, but most of them several times and then checked to see if I'd done them. Yield was decent for the size of plant and fairly sparkly. It'll be interesting to see if the GH Fems share any of these traits.

Hey GMT, thanks for dropping in. The one is definitely more sparkly than the other, but also seems a ways ahead of it too. I'm excited to smoke these babies. Gonna be like that first joint off the train from schipol all over again.
Tokin' - I'd have to say you're right after going in there today. The smaller one is probably max 2 weeks out. She's looking awesome and def. living up to the namesake White. The taller one just keeps getting bigger. The center cola just keeps pumpin' it out. I took a couple of the bigger, more damaged leaves off the cola today just to let a little light in down below. Exposed lots of goodness underneath. I'm sticking to 4 weeks on that one. Maybe 3. Either way, I'm excited. Thanks for keeping up on my little shack here. |

All kindsa shots for those of you who prefer a full layout over one lousy centerfold shot.
The shorter one is going to get the axe monday I'm thinking. She's hard as a rock and about 60-70% amber trichs. Coming along nicely. Not nearly as large, but definitely a frosty one. The taller of the two is still producing new calyxes and still very much white haired. About 50/50 clear/cloudy trichs. She's made a very nice main cola about the size of a spray can and keeps getting fatter and popping out in all directions. Very happy with how these have turned out despite the rocky beginning. Anyone try re-vegging these yet? I'm going to get the last 5 beans going after these are both finished up and thought that I'd keep these two around and try a reveg with them. The two tubs each have 5 lowryders in them btw... One of which I trained over after it got to about a foot tall - 6" ahead of the rest of them. These do pretty good for me. The buds are whispy and not overly potent by any means, but they're quick and I can usually get around 1oz from each kid. Enjoy! |
