Thanks Franco. Glad to see the forum opened back up.

How do I convert EC to PPM? I've only got a basic tds meter.

Some updates.

They took a little while but they've started doin' their thing.

Left

Right

Left
This one's doing pretty good. Hasn't stretched too much and it seems quite a bit healthier despite the higher ppm runoff compared to it's sister. Thinking this one will bud up pretty nicely.

Right
This is the one that I've had problems with from the beginning. It was doing better, but now it seems to want a little nitrogen as it's starting to yellow a bit. Hopefully the next go-round will easier with some different soil.

Looking good! Boost some readily-available N to the one plant yellowing.
And don't forget to boost P and K very soon!

Since I flushed them out, I hadn't been giving them any food - just water as needed. Gave the yellowing one a little dose of ferts yesterday. We'll see how it does over the next couple days.

I'm working with GH Flora Nova 3-part nutes. Have you guys used these in the past with your strains?

Should I be feeding them with each water? I give them about 1/2 gallon of water every 3 days or so right now - they don't seem too thirsty even though they're starting to form buds.

Are these things that finicky or did I mess up by using just the peat moss for a medium? I've got some good potting soil mix for the next go-round.

Also - are there any side effects when crossing your fem strains to a non fem strain? Do they produce good seeds or do they end up herming out?

These are from two days ago. Fed the sickly one as directed three days before these pics. Gave her and the other a good feeding three days after that and the next day I took these. The leaf tips and edges all started to curl in. My lowryder in the background there did it too. What causes that? I didn't give the LR any of the nutes that I gave the WR. Just used the same water. Not sure what I broke this time! Get it figured out and learn a thing or two here.

Just about 55 days from being put into the paper towel so around 50-53 days from germination. Puts them at about three weeks into flowering.

Enjoy...

There seems to be something besides environmental factors working on the leaf curl...
I had a couple that just wouldn't perk up.
I attributed it to them being rootbound, or hitting the bottom of the pot.
Was the only thing I could think of.
It happened a few days after transplanting just about every time i up sized the pots, when they found bottom and filled out their roots they drooped a little bit.
I thought it was a watering problem at first, drying out or staying to wet but that didn't make any difference if i kept them more wet or more dry...
Just had to keep giving them bigger pots...
They look pretty good, and even though you may think they look small, let them go 70 days or so and you won't regret it, they pack it on bigtime from about week 5 on...

Hey Rookie, thanks for stopping in.

They're both starting to form some nice buds. The healthier one (short) is getting a really nice coat of crystals on the leaves around the main bud. Looking pretty impressive up close. I'm really anxious to burn this bitch! I didn't smoke any of the WR in Amsterdam last fall, but had a couple other GH strains. I was a little surprised by the SSH as it tasted a little funky. Kinda like commercial bud here in the US but a much better stone. Hoping this turns out tasting better. I'll definitely take your advice on letting 'em finish out. Why rush...

Good to see you around again.

Wow... Ok, so it's been a couple weeks. The kids are doing great. Still have a while to go. I'll just let them tell me when they're ready. Got some LR to tide me over. Sorry about the lighting - HPS and my camera play games. Couple of these look like the centerfold in High Times all lit up with funky colored lighting and something like "Floro Blue Bud" in the top corner. lol, sorry, I'm f*ckin' baked...

This was the sickly one. Growing a nice cola right out the top though. They're starting to fill in quite nicely.

This one is still quite a bit shorter but super frosty and sweet smelling compared to her sister.

This one is quite velvetty, even to the touch.

This one is a bit greasy with sparse trichs. Different smell, but somehow the same. I have to wonder, since it had a traumatic childhood, if that has something to do with the way it turned out. Seems to be the same variation that I saw in Rookie's WR grow.

Question for Franco -

Should I be concerned with mold on these? I looked at the backside of a bud on the main cola today and it seemed a little (I don't want to say damp) greasy maybe? Didn't see any mold though.

I've got the fan (see above pics) in about the same place and blowing into the light to help keeps temps down. It circulates the air enough to make the bigger leaves dance a little, but is not blowing directly on them. Should I get more air flowing around the plants and deal with slightly higher temps?

Thanks!
