Biddy Early ?
Hi all, how does Biddy Early respond to pruning, topping or FIM-ing? Last year I put 'em outside and just let 'em go. Great x-mas tree shape! Is this the best method or do I prune them?

Hi H.Y.F.
Sorry I've missed this question somehow. The Biddy Early responds well to pruning but in my opinion it does not really need it. The lateral growth is pretty strong already without topping or pruning. I personally prefer bending instead of pruning, and I don't like fimming at all if I understand the term well (it's cutting in the centre of the grow tip, right?). Gerrit |

Thanks for the tip Gerrit. Yes that's how I understand FIM, never done it , not going to start now.
