I'd like to come for the cup. See how it is
![]() I just hope it's not some kind of "private party" where everyone knows each other but doesn't know me (and doesn't want to talk with me). I hope young people and beginners are as welcome as the pros. |

Ooh, is Tilburg the place to go for good smoke? Tilburg has a bad rep for being very dangerous and having a criminal character!

Alex,
That looks absolutely delicious!!!!!!Hell of a good job friend!!! Beautiful plant and you need to get plenty of photos of that one.... Very well done! vod, This get-together is for people to meet that wish to do so...It's my first cup and although I know many folks on here like family I have still yet to meet any of them, well almost none anyway... So get on over there and smoke yourself silly!!! ![]() BH, Theres a few good shops in Ultrecht,Eindhoven and a few other cities...The prices are much better and a lot of the time the buds/hash are better... This is from talking with 5 or 6 locals over the last couple of months.. I have a list of all the shops in other cities and will post them today for those interested in traveling...I'm staying in Haarlem for at least a week of my visit and the prices and quality there are also excellent at most of the 15 or 16 shops in that city.. Oh and theres no 5 gram limit in Haarlem...You can buy as much or as little as you desire..I think Nols shop offer nice dicounts for each 50 or 100 euros you spend.. Take care all........................... ..................CC I will post up some cool info I have found researching over the last 2 months.... |

Hiya Brit Hemperor!!! Send both!!! Then you're more certain to have an entry reaching there.
Hehehe, I hope it's some that rez stuff, or maybe those zamal things of yours ![]() In Den Haag I've found a few nice shops the time I visited for a consert. The hash was cheaper and a tad bit better then the regular Amster stuff. Also a very green city. Think it was betwen 11-14euro for a gram of the best super polm. (Think the place was called Kalashnikov or something russian sounding.) But I've had very nice things both places. For my morning coffe and toke I like to get a few joints of cheap imported bio-thai a place called De Republijk (in the northern corners where Jordaan meet Zentrum and Westerpark - not far from Harlemmer Plein) because it's prize range is good, service decent and the proximity to my hangout of course. Also Barney's in Marnixstrat and De Rokerij may be good. Oh and of course the Grey Area... Carrying DNA and own stash. Yummy.

The 5 gram limit applies all over the Netherlands, including Haarlem, and Haarlem is also much more strict over this rule now: Quote:
And the deal at Nol's Willie Wortel shops is: spend 50 euro and get 12.50 free Peace Last edited by British_Bulldog; 03-01-2008 at 09:29 PM.. |

Yeah, I've been to Endhoven, Arnhem and a few other places, lots of great coffeeshops around and the prices and quality put the Dam to shame. Coffee and Dreams in Leiden used to be fantastic, not been there for years tho.
Of course, I can't say what I might be entering, blind judging and all, but I will say it is a very unique plant with a very unusual high, probably doesn't stand a cat in hell's chance of winning but it will be distinctly different from the other entries I reckon. I'm hoping I can find a way of getting some samples of my other buds into Holland, British Customs love searching me so no chance am I carrying a sack of dank through an airport (never again! lol) I didn't know there was a Barney's on Marnixstraat, must be one of Derry's new shops. I stayed in a hotel on Marnixstraat for last year's cup. I much prefer that part of town to the Red Light. I've never been upto that corner of the Jordaan where Republijk is, at least I don;t think I have. Last year I got very lost trying to find the Katsu and walked miles east from Albert Cuyp Markt without seeing a single coffeeshop. I turned north after a while and worked my way back to the area east of the Dam and checked out Rusland and the Bluebird. How I never managed to find Katsu I don't know, I've been there a few times and thought I knew exactly where it was! I am really bored of central Amsterdam, so if anyone wishes to escort me to any of the more interesting, off-the-beaten track coffeeshops, that would be great. Oh, and for FFS, can someone take me to the bloody Katsu! lol |

i was at the willie wortels shop near the windmill recently and did not see any fingerprint device. not sure of the 5 g rule there at the moment but will be back there soon to find out whats up. there is no barney's on the marnixstraat, the uptown is the new restaurant on the haarlemmerstraat, other shop is on the the seven bridges street.
