Im half polish myself living in the USA....my grandfather came to the US when he was about 5 in 1910 or so.... I dont speak polish.... the last few letters of my name.... kowski......

The united states does not allow hemp cultivation but in poland I understand its very common....

Since most hemp varieties are hermaphroditic how does this effect your outside growing???

Hi , in Poland weed is illegal too . J think Polish people have tradition to break law , expecially stupid law hehe. We can't buy good weed in most of our country so we grow:]

J don't have problems with herms , last year J have about 2/100+ plants

Nope, we don't have problems with outdoor, exepct strains for hot climate

you need a permit to grow hemp in Poland. And although I'm not an expert in this subject I don't think hemp cultivation is very common here. In fact I've never seen a hemp field in my life (and I didn't spend all this years in the city either). So hermies and hemp no real problem for the outdoor grower.

Some data:
in 1928 29300ha of hemp were cultivated.
in the 60' it reached 30000 ha.
it declined in the early 90's and
in 2004 the cultivated area was just 900ha.

1 ha = 100 a = 10000 m² = 1 hm²
1 ha = 0,01 km²
1 acre = about 0.4ha

As you can see not much hemp is being cultivated since the fall of communism.
Probably more of illegal indoor acreage than outdoor fiber hemp acreage

When it comes to the herb, Poland can be very strict about enforcing its laws.

This forum is somewhat of an anomaly imo, because if you were to judge Poland's marijuana culture from an initial glance, you would think its WEAK. When it comes to to the average dealer and smoker around here, things can be pretty pathetic.

Then on the other hand, you have the icmag polish section. The most popular regional subforum on all of IC! and by a BIG margin, theres 23,000 posts in this section with the next biggest one only having 5,000!

This forum represents probably more of the underground marijuana culture in Poland, which is alive and thriving, thanks to intelligent and creative growers, who grow top shelf hydro and shares their knowledge with the community.

It is actually pretty strange. There is a large divide between the reefer classes in Poland. The low end to mid range street shit is pretty bad, and not just in terms of quality, but poor perceptions and misinformation is rampant.
Then on the other hand, you have a great knowledge base on sites like this, with polish growers using sophisticated methods of growing, harvesting and curing. I have had the pleasure of finding this out first hand thanks to a Polish grower, bogusik2 on this forum.

Theres a lot of talent and positive energy for the marijuana movement in Poland, but its concentrated within a small class of people in my opinion. Its reasonable to assume, based simply on the fact Poland is rapidly changing thanks to the new generation of people, that things will keep getting better for marijuana lovers here.

The climate in the united states is terrible because of central us govt....

If the states were allowed to act seperately and legally then we would see greater change...

Unfortunately not only does the central govt think they should control our states but put heavy pressure on other govts....

The only way to win is to fight these opppressive laws......
