Swamped? how do you think us knewbies feel, when accesing a thread with a thousand posts?

I can't, it's too much. can the mods not condense some posts, e.g. take the flaming/ nonesense/idiot posts out so it's more managable?

Iimagine some of the posts need to stay for whatever reason/ sentimental reasons maybe, old freinds.

I'll bet theres some good info on some of them............

Let's see if I got this right; the site closed down the Overgrow/Cannabisworld Refugees forum, because the members that came from there to here are now concidered fully integrated IC members (no need for a whole forum reminiscing about how great OG was, we can do that in select threads), right?

But you left this forum open, so that 2 years + old IC members can continue to escape the less than 2 years old members, or unfamiliar handles in general, or tiresome newbies asking how to identify sex of a plant, presented in a blurry cellphone pic of a one week old seedling?

So it's kind of like a club for shy and estranged people?

....yes we have some very senior gereatric members that need to feel how it was 'in the olden days'.........so we keep this forum open just in case (although shy and estranged) they wish to wax nostalgically lyrical about the old days..........lol

Libby, you have 2 options, hit the filter button, and just read the posts made by the thread starter rather than those by peeps replying, or just do what the rest of do and wade through it. Alternatively, there are other forums out there where it takes a week for a new reply to be posted to each thread, making it much easier for the newbie to read the whole site relatively quickly.
