Highhhhhhhh everyone
Had a good New Year ?
Well our Peak project came to harvest, and I must say I was a little impressed in one way and in another Not At ALL,

(*about the service more on that later)

For the price you do get a great deal sort of, I mean ,if your a experiance grower FORGET IT, Nothing New Here Same old same old, nice smoke, But these commerical strains have been around forever,
and reworked to death.
The Northern Berry is nice,
Out of 60 seeds I found it to be stable with 2 phenos, One that is more of the Blueberry the other more of a standard Northern Lite Type.
I found the Blue to the better of the 2 types, but lacked in weight at the end.

Peak also has some other strains, and a New One Called Skunk Berry . :wink:
For Skunk lovers you'll love this,
Again 2 types of phenos one more a sativa,
the other a standard Skunk # 1 type.
Both very nice and soft, but like the Northern Berry nothing really special
This is why Ive mention both strains in this report,
there is really no difference in the 3 types they offer for medical, Northern Berry, Skunk Berry, and Blueberry.
Of all I would stay with their Northern Berry,
and stay away from the Blueberry
Out of 60 seeds ONLY 1, A female VERY POOR GERM RATE !!!! VERY POOR

Now about their *service
I recived beans all safe and very fast 12 days total, but thats it !!!
When asked (e-mailed) about there service WHAT SERVICE ????

Never a reply, and after the blueberry experiance forget PEAK.

For newbies starting first time grows there are some good choices here to start with,
Very Trouble Free, Easy Cloners Strains, but their service on follow up ???,
Ill stay with Gypsy,
Im sure you can find the same seed in his stock
but with better service in the end.
I would buy Peak's Northerberry again or their Skunkberry or thier FAILING BLUEBERRY if maybe " Gypsy " carried it !!!
and I would have a guarantee of a safe buissness,
When companys dont reply, or back their products,
I feel Im just there to PAY the RENT,
I feel my buissness is worth more than that, and Gypsy and the Pholks there @ S.D. make me feel more than just another number to PAY their BILLS.
I know thats the bottom line about making money,
But please in this community,
I liked to think were better than that,

Wow so this strain is seemingly a panacea ... thanks for the report! quite indepth. IMO the best reporters speak their minds and do not hold back one bit!

Thank you FF for your support I try to be as honest and fair as I can be,
which is Im a straight shooter ,
some cant handle that oh well someone has got to do it
Being an ex buyer & breeder for the cannabis clubs in the bay area, I feel I can give a honest and fair report even if some dont like what I have to say
I would say to date Ive grown over 200 of these so called strains,
The fact is after all these years I personnaly think we have 7 or 9 real strains out their in the world,
the rest is things that we have exploted to our advantage out of these strains,
From Northern Lites, to White Widow and even BOG seed stock, there isnt really much of a diff between the strains.
I remember when this started in the early 70's with growing & breeding,
And Im sure many of you out there can remember this too,
You had two choices,
sativa from mexico or asia,
or Indica from russia and the middle east,
Indica was not that great till breeders started mixing it with sativa,
and then you started getting HIGH,
then cross breeding back,
and now you have all these great hybrids,
and reworked pures, all resulting in what we have now, and like with the above mention report of Northern Berry.
That is why I gave this report in ways of speaking about all their strains at once,
Like Ive said Northern Berry from here (Peak)
I think would be a great hybrid if crossed with BOG'S Sour Bubble,
I think this would be good direction to go with Indica breeding.

The northern may or may not be a cure all FF,
but with Sour Bubble Cross,
OH BOY I think cannabis breeding will go and be in a New Direction.
BOG has the genetics that everyone wants in their garden, Its that Classic Taste it Has.
It is very good that this strain of Sour Bubble,
BOG is working with is not lost or worst yet inbreed to death,
where taste and high is gone like in so many of the so called great strains,
to me most are pretty plain, taste all the same.

I also would like to mention also at this time why I posted this seed co. that Gypsy does not carry,

Of all the bitching said about orders and mail and service,
this is a perfect example of unstable the seed buiss is out there,
why people dont trust seed companys.

To date Gypsy and company have never been a let down once,
in fact over the top they have gone with me,
I had a problem a few months ago with SD and SB problems fixed right away,no questons no hassels, quick response to my problem I had a answer back and problem solved in 72 hours,

VERY GOOD SERVICE RIGHT ? !!!

Now with being a ex buyer from the clubs in the bay,
alot of other seed companys just plain SUCK,
Run by kids that have NO buissness morals,
They walk a walk but thats all,
its just a walk,
others Are so greedy Like Emery,
forget dealing with them,

I Say it now and say it till Ill Die NO SEED IS WORTH OVER 100 DOLLARS !

Remember this is just a weed !

I dealt with everyone from Canada , what egos there,

The companys just plain suck, poor seed germ, split seeds, undeveloped seeds, mislabled seeds ect.
I recived more seed complaints about those Canada companys we got seeds from than when I deal with SB.

Other than Peak, one other place was really bad seeds were very poor germers, they came from Heavan Stairway ,One patient spent over 800 dollars on seeds from them, I was sad to say, out of those strains only two came thru and one finally made to the end,
We the club did a test run same thing very sad,
Asked if they could fix the problem,
O'well guess we got had.
Guess someone was late with the rent.

I said I would never deal with Canada Seed companys again,
3 yrs ago last time,
broke down for this Northernberry, I think Ive learned my lesson's.

So to some up this long post, stay with Gypsy. :-)

Classic good info Liberty. Indicas can tend to be boaring, and sleep inducing. But perked up with a good sativa is my idea of weed. The effects of both banging away at you. I'm also greatful on your honest thoughts on your seed buying experiances. You could have saved people some money. And caused others not to waste their time. Thanks.

Yea i grew Peaks northern berry outdoors and it was just as you described it. I had the more blueberry pheno. Awsome taste and it was some really nice stuff. As for their service, Ive never had any problems. They answered all my emails and i got my seeds pretty quickly once they recieved my IMO.

Differing opinions on the Peak seeds, but discussion is good and healthy.

If you are reading this thread in 2015 I can say the opening post is not my experience so far in my dealings with Mike J at Peak Seeds BC.

Top rate service including info on strains, excellent delivery times, super prices if you buy in larger amounts. I can't speak highly enough of Peak's customer service.

My order arrived late last month and I placed 15 of their Kush x Northern Lights and 9 Kush x Blueberry F1 beans in wet paper towels 46.5 hours ago. 2/3rds of each strain have cracked. So far, so good.

I got 9 of 10 germ on the blueberry recently. Had to help 1 crack. One came up without petioles, one was planted too shallow and got uprooted.
Northernberry was the first strain I ran and sucked at cloning.. I still think about that blueberry coffee flavor. Considering it was the first plant of any type that I ever grew it was amazing.
Mike also hooked me up with my last order. Ordered a pack of the blueberry and he basically threw in a pack of the c99 (9 seeds). I've never seen such huge seeds as his blueberry..no wonder they're hard to crack sometimes.
