Hmmm, I've grown the Biddy twice and although I've heard people say theirs were small mine were rather more sativa in growth pattern. As long as you have the space then you could give it a go..

I would vote to wait....if ya can. Ya got another 6 weeks at least of less than 12/12 (start of Spring). Haven't grown yur strain but, don't know how they couldn't go right into flower if put under natural light only at this time.
I think it was Lougrew that said he was starting plants outside in the winter & harvesting around April as the short days gave him a second crop after a Fall harvest.

Hello Bozwell,

They will likely flower if you don't lengthen the day with artificial light.
It does not have to be a grow light since it only needs a little to prevent flowering.
A 9 or 11 watt cfl hung above each plant is more than enough to keep them in veg.

I don't see any need for it though.
Anyone that ends up with a small Biddy either planted very late, used a small pot, or had other "bad" conditions.
When planted in open soil in May they should end up 1.8 to 2 meters at harvest.
If you start them early April in your heated greenhouse I'm sure they will become big enough to fill up all the available space.

Hi Bozwell,

I think that would be ok, but the 30 litres is a bit small for such a big plant, when you plant so early it will have > 4 months of vegetative growth, I think 50 litres would be the minimum.
No need for topping, when you bend back the mainstem a bit the lateral branches will pick-up quickly.
