MEDICAL MARIJUANA STRAIN therapeutic
I have a few questions that mabe somone can help me with or point me in the right direction . I want to make a or get a strain of Medical Weed that has a greater affect on CB2 receptors , CB2 receptors appear to be responsible for the anti-inflammatory and other therapeutic effects of medical cannabis.
Ok Iam intrested in CBD Cannabidiol From what I know or understand to be Cannabidiol is not psychoactive unlike THC and appears to mediate the euphoric effect of THC . CBD Cannabidiol has a greater affinity for the CB2 receptor than for the CB1 receptor , CB1 being primarily in the brain which gives you the head fuck of a high .Where CB2 found manily in the immune system & spleen. CB2 It is perceived to have more effect on the body thus the term body bent which makes for some good Medical Cannabis . How to get a good CBD out of you plant well most people know this one Indicas have the highest rate of CBD to THC content out of all cannabis plants and strains . Sativas have little to none and are more higher in THC which is good for people that like getting really high , however iam only after this shit for therapeutic use  Ok So the more you mature a plant and the more your plants pistils change color the more your CBD index increases . Now someone said you should cure your weed for 3 weeks for medical Cannabis which increases the CBD , wrong , Curing you weed for that long makes your CBN content increases as THC degrades in storage CBN is the primary product of THC degradation which makes your pot only mildly psychoactive and more of a sedative or stupefying smoke. So who ever said that was to stoned and got cannabinol CBN confused with CBD Cannabidiol which is what where after . Now doz anyone know how to get a CBD levels any higher with nuitrents during the flowering stage ? someone suggested Hormones might have a affect on the Cannabinoids ? . What I really want to do is to get a plant so high in CBD that i will have heaps in the flower reduce to resin slurry and then Vacum Distill that and use distilation to seperate the Cannabinoids from each other how ever I dont know what temp THC , CBD ,CBN and the rest of the sixty known herbal cannabinoids come over at . so really this is just a dream iam having for now, but if it can be done imagine the uses of this oil few drops in your cup of tea instance relife of pain without smoking and no major Head spins of a high more total relaxing body stone without feeling sleepy . I think this could be possible to achive and with a little know how and perhaps a year 11 chemistry kit and acess to a good strain of Indica . Oh well what do you guys think. |

I haven't the faintest clue as to what you were talking about but, I do know that I feel much better smoking Indica than Sativa.

Two strains that we have found to be very high in CBD are a Panama Red x Sweet Skunk x Super Skunk that I grew out last year (9% CBD) and a version of Salmon Creek Big Bud a friend grew out that had a whopping 13% CBD
Unfortunately those two strains, despite having very high CBD levels, sacrificed potency and had THC levels of ONLY 2% (for the Panama hybrid) and 8-11% (for the SCBB) Another important fact our lab and reserach team have discovered is that HEMP is VERY high in CBD and may be a viable source for it, on it's own! |

Hi MEDUSER,
Would you have any info on these strains? Has anyone had any experience with either of these strains ? Quote:

Jeri, you are largely correct. Indica's are the best source of cannibidiol (CBD). Usually, Indica's contain from 2-6% CBD while Sativa's have 0.1-1%.
CBD converts during maturation and curing from CBD to THC and CBN. You want to cut your plants when the trichomes are clear to cloudy, not amber, and use fresh. Lifesaver is a great idea. Yours, dr. jay
