I've been gathering equipment the last year and had bought 2 lights. I thought for some weird reason I got 2 400 hps lights. It turns out I have a 250 and a 400. I put the bulbs in the wrong fixtures and didn't notice for about 3 hours.

How bad did I screw up these bulbs? Oh I got them labeled now. :wink: Should I be looking at replacing both bulbs or just the 250? Does this do anything to the ballast? By the way who is the board Sparky? <-- construction slang for electrician. TIA Harry

The 250 might have a little shorter life but the 400 had no ill effect. Does nothing really to the ballast since you switched em out already. Just curious but how did you discover that error?

To tell you the truth I got high. My son stoped by and caught me a buzz and I went back out to the room to finnish painting my tubs and noticed one lamp was alot brighter then the other. The brighter one being the 250 in the 400 fixture. Thanks for the speedy reply mf. I got to quit that straight shit. I made an order from DH and forgot to get my net pots and nozzels but ordered the plugs, hose, and elbows. Thanks again and grow well. Peace Harry
