Well the Chocoloupe was out of stock at new year too,

and the "Big Buddha" Cheese is not good. In fact the dealer in the Grey Area highly recommended against taking the Cheese, and was telling everyone to buy Bubblegum, but I was curious to try the Cheese and so bought a bag - very disappointing - overferted, not grown well enough, the high was mediocre, and definately not worth bothering about.

BTW: here's another opinion from another English toker from *****.com, posted on Nov 10th 2007:

"Chocoloupe was still the best of the trip.. Didn't rate the Big Buddha Cheese that much.. (not sure if its like the original or not, as I have not tried it)..."


Logic - I got the impression from your previous posts that you were knowledgable about herb, but then you recommend the Grey Area Cheese, so that has thrown me a bit??!

In all, I don't think the Grey Area have anything decent at the moment since the Chocoloupe has been out of stock, and worryingly they list "Grey Mist Crystal TRICHROMES" on their website, instead of "TRICHOMES".....a common newbie mistake, and doesn't exactly instill confidence in them!!

The Grey Area is also vastly overpriced....but that's another story, we're talking about quality here, and even for Amsterdam it's not good lately at the Grey Area.

My advice on the herb is to wait for the Chocoloupe to come back, as I don't think anything on that list is worth smoking....and I don't see any Lemon Skunk at the moment either.


bubbafisher - I may be in the Netherlands around that time and if so it would be cool to have a smoke out, and also possible to meet other established icmag'ers, but not other newbies who ask me, as that's different, lol

So is the Cheese the Grey Area are now selling totally different to the Cheese they were selling 4 weeks ago, because that Cheese was poor.

I know Mr Haze knows his stuff, but it can't be the same stuff as a month ago, because I don't think that'd pass the Mr Haze taste test, lol.


I got that list off their website, so it's their responsibility to keep it upto date, and I thought it was.

try the greenplace coffeeshop on the nieuwmarkt, they have a nice menu and good coffee

Ok cool Mr Haze, and rather than get the Cheese again from the Grey Area (too hit and miss by the sounds of things), I think next time I'm in the 'dam I'll definately hit up the Greenplace, as I didn't get chance last time.

Which goodies are around at the moment btw? Any sign of anymore eggs per chance?
